Hymer B708 SL motorhome review

- The Hymer B708 SL was first released on 25 August 2017 at Caravan Salon Dusseldorf. Hymer has been progressively updating its entire B range and this model, the B708 SL, was unveiled to great pomp at the largest motorhome event in the world. The B range has a lot of history behind it having been launched in 1981. Other vehicles in the B class have since followed.
I really like this. Hymer....at least t my knowledge...in the U.S., is only offering smaller class B's. Really looking forward to the time they have an offering here like this.

Thank you for an awesome review of this coach. It has a lot packed into a small space. I really like the dry shower. I can see why Hymer is so popular. I am hoping they come out with an induction stovetop at some point.

Roadtrek has induction and Hymer bought them two years ago. I also looked at it for what we are trying to do!
Hi for a long time I am looking Hymer will come in INDIA 🇮🇳... Very eager to buy this multiuser car.... Cos in India people prefer this kind of concept but honestly we don not have any option..... Hoping HYMER will come soon..... Please comes ASAP....

So much more appealing than all the pseudo country style interiors. This will be big in the US. Airstream and Unity et.al. Have proven there is a market for modern interior design.

#10 Nice Vehicle! A good traveler for retired couple. I am going to research it more. I currently have a European Style Class C that is very fuel efficient and plenty of bathroom space.

Yes there is, it’s called a carado. Built by Hymer and sold by Smart RV. Just bought one and the build quality and features are great.

we really need some commentary on the new design changes Alan. new chassis ? new engines ? interior design looks different which would make sense as this is a new generation of b class . how was the quality of materials and construction ? also looks like some new interior ideas . far too thin a review I'm afraid

Alan, if you stick to the review and hold back all the unnecessary details about your life that just leave bad visuals in the viewer's head, that would be awesome. Not everyone takes the time to read the article, most watch the video as a stand alone review. With that being said...very unsatisfied with your review. Instead of getting defensive, work on your technique and find ways to better your reviews. One suggestion would be to actually walk the rig and get to know the layout and features before you start filming and leaving your viewers frustrated. Just some constructive criticism. Good luck.
I appreciate constructive criticism Gilbert but you are not being realistic. No information was released before hand and this was published within a couple of hours of it being released to the public. There is a very comprehensive article to which there is a link and if people cannot be bothered to read it then I think they need to stick to watching better videos than mine. As far as my life is concerned, I am speaking from experience.
Frankly, it doesn't appear that you do appreciate constructive criticism given your bellicose response. Perhaps this is because of the number of churlish ad hominem attacks here in the comments but some comments but polite or impolite, a pattern is emerging (which explains why approximately a quarter of those who view this video give it a thumbs down.) The video's description doesn't indicate that it is a companion to a written review (which 99% of CZcams viewers will never read) so it's understandable that so many of us feel this video was of much value. I might also mention that I, for one, could have done without hearing about how watermelon gives you the trots.
I await your passive-aggressive rebuttal with bated breath. (Note: I don't know of an emoji that indicates sarcasm so...)

Your home is in the repair shop and your left alone . This happened to us after a deer ran in front of us.Trailer is the only way to go at least you have one the trailer or the truck.
Also find out what the oil change is going to cost you.

Very lacking review in my opinion. It seems you yourself didn't know any of the features before filming. Like what's under the floor + the pros and cons of them - seems to me having the electric on the floor is hazards

Strange you should say that. Only yesterday I was thinking that after several million views of my films in the US, no-one has complained about using metric measurements. Give it a try. You will find it much easier. I can calculate how many litres of water there are in a pool having the measurements in my head! Can you do the same in imperial? For the record, there are 30cm in one foot.

So why have you watched it at least three times? You clearly know nothing about RVs as this is a very high grade motorhome and furthermore, demand is such that there is a long waiting list for delivery. I suggest you don't waste your time watching films for the grown ups and instead stick to watching the Cartoon Channel.

And just when am I supposed to find the time to do that? As I very clearly said, it was revealed on the previous day and I pubished the film almost immediately. I have since published a film giving far greater information. Of course if you can do a better job than I can, then I suggest you do.

Motorhomes are obscenely overpriced for what they are. I don't understand how they sell any of them. You can buy a base vehicle and get it built by a specialist company, to a much better and bespoke standard, for less than half the price. These motorhome companies are absolutely robbing people. DONT BUY FROM THEM.
