I want to make a solar oven out of soda cans. Maybe one day boil a cup of water, maybe cook a meal, maybe generate electricity. These videos are great. I am having trouble Ironing the sheets flat. I maybe need a better Iron... and then I want to secure to or three sheets together to deflect the sun to my solar oven from under the fresnel lens.
Thank you for the videos. I can use this video to waste less material when cutting my cans. Thank you again.

Hey, apparently we have similar ideas for the future. I've been thinking about a solar oven too, but I haven't realized it because I'd like to make it foldable and portable. I want to boil water from the river on my hikes to make drinking water. Therefore it should be light with a small pack size. Concerning the Iron: Either you test with other soda cans (not all have the same thickness) or instead of the iron you place the sheets in a oven..... and as soon as you have something please share.
