I was just watching a video from my past priest when I used to be Christian. He was explaining the trinity to the Sunday school children by saying. He has a title, 'his name,' his job title ' father' and 'dad' and stated he is one person. But God is the father, and jesus is the son and so forth. But did witness him one Easter place his head on the floor, which I found very profound at the time, and I have now found Islam, and my wonderful husband.

The first hurdle that ISLAM cannot get over.
Muhammad was never a true prophet.
I say that because, a true prophet must receive a direct call from God, especially if he is to be the founder of a religion.
Muhammad did not receive a direct call from God.
      Let's start from the beginning.
Muhammad was one day meditating in the cave, a spirit visited him, pressed his chest tightly such that, he thought he was going to die. But on each occasion, Muhammad told the spirit he was illiterate and couldn't read.
After this encounter with the spirit in the cave, Muhammad thought he had been visited by a DEMON and ran to his wife in fear. He said to Khadija, his wife, 'cover me' she covered him until his fear was over.
Muhammad related what had transpired in the cave to his wife and said, 'O Khadija, what is wrong with me? What has happened to me? I am afraid for myself! However, Khadija and on the advice of lbn Neafal her cousin managed to convince Muhammad that the spirit was Gabriel.
But the spirit did not introduce itself as The Angel Gabriel.
      **************************
It is of great importance to identify the SPIRIT who squeezed Muhammad at the cave of Hira near Mecca.
      **************************
Was the spirit really The Angel Gabriel?
      *****************************
      The answer is absolutely NO!
      *****************************
      1) Had the spirit been The Angel Gabriel, he would have calmed Muhammad and relieved his fear. But the spirit left him in extreme distress. The Angel Gabriel appeared to many people before his alleged visit to Muhammad and each time the first thing he did was to allay that person's fear.
      i. When The Angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel, he was afraid but The Angel Gabriel touched him. The Angel Gabriel did not squeeze him or cause him pain, The Angel Gabriel only touched him (Daniel 8:16-18).
ii. The Angel Gabriel also appeared to Zachariah father of John the Baptist who is called Yahya in the Qur'an he identified himself and said to Zachariah : Do not be afraid, Zacharia ...... I am Angel Gabriel that stand in the presence of God (Luke 1:13-19)
iii. The Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, MOTHER of JESUS CHRIST our Lord.
Mary was scared but The Angel Gabriel said to her: Do not be afraid, Mary (Luke 1:30)
      2) Had the spirit been The Angel Gabriel, he would not have contradicted his former revelations. Six hundred (600) years before the birth of Muhammad, the REAL Angel Gabriel said to Mary that she would bear a child who will be the Son of God: The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35).
But the spirit which appeared to Muhammad told him JESUS was not the son of God:... The Christians call Christ the son of Allah .... Allah's curse be on them (Sura 9:30).
If; the spirit that appeared to Muhammad was The Angel Gabriel, it would not have said JESUS was not the son of God.
That would make the Angel Gabriel a liar would it not?
So would it really have been the Angel Gabriel that appeared in the cave?
      3) Had the spirit been Gabriel. He would have taught Muhammad to read and write.
The Qur'an declares that Allah taught JESUS how to write: "'And Allah will teach him the book and wisdom, the Torah and the gospel" (Sura 3:48).
The famous Qur'an Commentator ibn Kathir in his exposition of the Qur'an (vol.1 p.344) says:
'The book mentioned here means write. We would expect that Mohammed, who calls himself the seal of the prophets, would be taught to read and write.
The spirit said in his revelation to Muhammad Read: and thy lord the most Bounteous, who teaches by the pen, teacheth man that which he know not (Sura 96:3-4).
The question is if God teaches man that which he know not by the pen, why did he not teach Muhammad (the 'senior prophet) how to read and write instead of leaving him illiterate all his life?
      4) We learn from Islamic tradition that on several occasions when Muhammad saw the spirit, he would be so frightened he would run home to his wife and ask her to cover him with clothes:
"I was called again and raised my head, and there on the Throne in the open atmosphere he, i.e. Gabriel (peace be upon him) was sitting. I began to tremble on account of fear. I came to Khadija and said: Wrap me up.
They wrapped me up and threw water on me..." (Sahih Muslim book 1 ch.74 no.307 p.100. Narrated by Jabir)
At other times, Muhammad experienced some strange physical symptoms. From Hadith Mishkat, we learn that, sometimes he would shrive and swoon, roar like a camel and white foamy saliva would come from his mouth (Hadith Mishkat iv p.359).
Sometimes when he receive revelation(s) there was the sound like the buzzing of bees near his face (source: Umar Ibnu'l Khattab), while at other times, he felt a tremendous headache.
Muhammad once said: "At times it comes to me like the ringing of a bell and that is most severe for me... and at time an Angel in the form of a human being comes to me... (Sahih Muslim vol.4 book 28 no.5765-5767 p.1248)
However, it is unclear why Mohammed later said, "...The bell is the musical instrument of Satan." Sahih Muslim vol.3 book 22 no.5279, also Abu Dawud vol.2 no.2548 -2550
According Ahmad b. Hanbal, "He became distressed, foaming at the mouth and closing his eyes. At times he snorted like a young camel (Ahmad b. Hanbal I, 34, 464, vi.163). This gave rise to the allegation in certain quarters Muhammad was epileptic.
Prophet Muhammad according to 'Amr Ibn Sharhabil, mentioned to his wife, Khadija, that he feared he was possessed by demons and wondered whether others consider him possessed [i.e. evil spirits] (source: pfanoter 1910:345).
These statements about the physical symptoms exhibited by Muhammad when he saw the spirit were not made by strangers, non Muslims or people who did not know him.
These statements were made by Aisha, Muhammad's favourite wife, relatives and his close followers who strongly believed that he was the seal of the prophets.
All these people happened to be very close to Muhammad, whom knew the alleged prophet well!
Yet when the same angel Gabriel visited Daniel, Zachariah and even Mary, none of them had convulsions with foam coming from their mouths.
Neither did they hear the sounds of bells ringing nor the buzzing of bees near their faces. They did not roar like a camel or swoon, etc.
Over time Muhammad started having some doubts about the revelations he received from the spirit.
Allah (God) directed Muhammad to check the truth from the 'Book:'
If thou wert in doubt as to what we have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the book from before thee (Sura Yunus 10:94).
The 'book' mentioned in this verse is the Holy Bible.
If Muhammad were a learned man, he would have known what the Holy Bible says concerning Satan:
'And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light'.
      (2 Corinthians 11:14)
Mohammed was not only deceived then, but the hadiths record that later he was under an evil spell too. (Bukhari vol.4 book 53 chapter 34 and vol.4 no.400 p.267)
      (Article credited to Dr Labib).
While truth can be painful, I do not mean to offend; my hope is that all muslims will find the truth and embrace JESUS wholeheartedly - not thru Islam but thru the teachings of the HOLY BIBLE - Only thru JESUS CHRIST can you walk the path towards the Kingdom of Heaven.
      Amen.

How do we reconcile this passage along with other passages such as Matthew 24:36-“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone,” with the theology of the Trinity? Moreso, how do we answer objections to his equality to the Father (in divinity) within the LDS community and his actual divinity to groups just as the JWs based on these verses and others like it that appear to seperate the two person’s authority quite drastically.
In John 14:28, Jesus says, “The Father is greater than I.” For many, this statement seems obvious: Jesus is not God. But is this really what our Lord was saying?
In Catholic theology, this text can be understood in two ways. First, being “greater” than another does not have to mean one is essentially different from the other, as when we say a man is essentially distinct from an animal. Greatness can refer to one person functioning in a greater way quantitatively, qualitatively, or even relationally in comparison to another without there being an essential distinction. For example, Matthew 11:11 tells us there has never “risen among [men] a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” John is not something other than human because he is said to be greater than certain other people. All human beings share the same nature; therefore, they are absolutely equal in dignity.
Similarly, the Father can be said to be greater than the Son pertaining to their relation within the inner life of God, but not with respect to their shared nature as being fully and equally God. The Father alone is the first principle of life in the Godhead; thus, the Catechism of the Catholic Church can say, in paragraph 246: “Everything that belongs to the Father, except being Father, the Son has also eternally from the Father, from whom he is eternally born . . .” (emphasis added). In this sense, the Father can be said to be greater than the Son relationally, while they are absolutely equal with regard to their essence as God.
Another-and perhaps simpler-way one can legitimately interpret this text is to point out that John 14:28 seems to be emphasizing the humanity of Christ. Thus, because Jesus is fully man, it would be appropriate to say the Father would be greater than the Son. The entire verse reads: “You heard me say to you, ‘I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.”
Jesus was emphasizing here and in previous verses his impending death, resurrection, and departure from the apostles. This would apply to his humanity most particularly. Thus, the same Jesus who can say, “I and the Father are one” in John 10:30-as God-can say, “The Father is greater than I” in John 14:28-as man.
WHY DID JESUS HIDE HIS GLORY?
    Glorify the Father
Jesus hid his glory when he became a man in order to show his Father’s glory. “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18). When Old Testament believers witnessed an appearance of Christ, they were often fearful for their lives. They knew that sinful man could not look upon God and live. The glory of God was also the judgment of God; the natural person who saw it died. When Moses spent forty days alone with God on Mount Sinai, it was necessary to cover his face when he came down because it reflected the glory of God. The people could not look upon God and live.
When John was on the Isle of Patmos, he too had a vision of Christ. When John saw Jesus in the full glory that was his from the beginning, John wrote, “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead” (Rev. 1:17). When Paul had a similar vision of Christ, he was blinded with light from heaven (Acts 9:3-9). Later he wrote of being “caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter” (2 Cor. 12:4). When Isaiah saw the Lord in the temple, he cried out, “Woe is me…” (Isa. 6:1-8).If Jesus had not veiled his preincarnate glory he could not have accomplished what he came to earth to do. It was necessary for Christ to hide his glory temporarily as he sought to save the souls of men. After the work of atonement was done, he could pray, “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was” (John 17:5).
    Limitations of Humanity
As a result of the incarnation, Jesus became the God-man. He was at all times both God and man as he lived on earth. When Jesus became flesh, he voluntarily subjected himself to its limitations Be. fore his birth, heaven was his throne. Now in the flesh, Jesus was limited to the distance that a man could walk on the paths of Galilee. The Son of God who created water voluntarily lived in a body that got thirsty.
Jesus was born into this world as other humans (Luke 2:120), even though his conception was supernatural. As a child he developed as every human must develop. Jesus grew in mental, physical, spiritual, and social areas of life (Luke 2:52). He had the essential elements of human nature. He was body (Heb. 10:5), soul (John 12:27), and spirit (Mark 2:8). Jesus became hungry when he did not eat (Matt. 4:2). He became tired and asked the woman at the well for water to drink (John 4:6). Throughout his life on earth, Jesus was just as human as any one of us, subject to the same emotional experiences of sorrow, pain, and hurt which any man experiences. The willingness of Jesus to limit himself to becoming a man gives us confidence that he understands the affairs of our lives. “For we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin” (Heb. 4:15). Because he has experientially known the frustrations of humanity, we have a “God of all comfort” (2 Cor. 1:3) upon whom we can depend. While those who deny his deity believe they are honoring Jesus Christ in calling him a great man, the Bible says he emptied himself voluntarily by accepting the limitations of humanity. Yet at all times he remained God.He surrendered the independent use of some attributes. Self-emptying took place also by the voluntary choice not to use certain of his attributes.
    Power of the Holy Spirit
Perhaps the best expression of omnipotence is that of the miracles of God. Even though Jesus was known as a miracle worker, he performed those miracles through the power of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 12:28). He voluntarily laid aside his power to do them and relied on the Holy Spirit or the Father. On various occasions he made it clearly known he was doing the work of his Father.
“Then answered Jesus, and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (John 5:19).
During his earthly life and ministry, Jesus was omniscient, but did not know the time of the second coming. He was omnipresent, but when he became flesh, he limited himself to being in one place at one time. He was omnipotent, yet he prayed to God to perform the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Jesus had not lost these attributes of God, but rather, in the process of emptying himself, he chose not to use his relative attributes.

How do you know what was the legal age of marriage in 7th century Arabia? You don't know your own history.
People used to mature faster physically. Moreover,Mary the mother of Jesus was 12-14 years old when she gave birth to Jesus (Source: Matthew:A Shorter Commentary by Dale C. Allison). Even among the popular historical figures -
33 year old King John of England married 12 years old Isabella. Margaret Beaufort gave birth to Henry Tudor at the age of 13 (1457).In the play of Romeo-Juliet,Juliet was 13. Joan of France, Duchess of Berry was betrothed at 8 days old and married at the age of 12.
In India in the 'Age of Consent Act'(1891) , the age of consent for girls was increased from 10 to 12 years old. The average life expectancy just before 1300 was about 35 years. In 1880, 37 states of America had an age of consent at 10 years old.
Roman law 100 B.C brides were 12 years old
      •St Augustine from 10 years old 350 A.D
•King Richard second married 7 years old at 1396

•1880 USA, Delaware min age to marry was 7 years old and
      •California age of 10 yrs
And all these aren't even 200 years ago!
In the ancient time women had to marry early for two reasons: 1. There was too much wars and so they needed to reproduce faster as average life expectancy wasn't high 2. They didn't have to go to schools, college or University like today that could spend their 16 years of life . So they were married off earlier. It was our human history throughout the world.
Even today the minimum age of marriage differs from place to place, Parental consent is needed in Alabama and Utah at age 14, while in Nebraska and Oregon, the age is 17. In New Hampshire, the ages at which you may get married with parental consent are 14 for males and 13 for females.
However it is important to know that Islam is the only major religion on the face of the earth that actually prohibits any sexual relationship before puberty in the Quran. The first wife of the prophet was 15 years older than him. So this doesn't match with the definition of pedophilia. salam.

      ** READ **
      Amen.

      Amen.

This is absurd, you can't visually represent the Trinity because nothing in creation is like God. The closest analogy is that of the human mind, you have a will and intellect yet you are still one person.

    • @neophyteone712
      @neophyteone712 Před 3 lety

@Renkai Holyphrase the trinity is simply a statement of biblical fact: the Father is divine, the Son is divine, and the Holy Spirit is divine, and yet there is one God. How this is so depends on ones viewpoint and several models have been developed by Latin and Eastern theologians.

    • @neophyteone712
      @neophyteone712 Před 3 lety

@Renkai Holyphrase yes, it doesn't make sense in the sense that it cannot be imagined. It is beyond the human mind to understand the workings of God though it reflects a very archaic, even primordial, understanding of God. Anthropologists in the late 19th century discovered that many primitive tribes had a concept of a high-god but paradoxically he was not worshipped and he was not understood as creator. Rather, the supreme God withdrew himself early in primordial history and instead saved the creation of earth and humans to his first son, or first creation, the demiurge.
This archaic between God/Demiurge reflects a well known philosophical problem, how does a transcendent God interact with imminent creation? The Greeks proposed that God, or the monad, is unownable and that this holy other connects to us through divine intermediaries, the highest of which was known as the logos, the first creation of God.
The Jewish Alexandrian sage, Philo, writing around the time of Christ within the first century, dealing with the mysterious passages in the Old Testament where God manifests in human form, identified these theophanic appearances as the Logos. The author of the Gospel of John's prologue then ratified this concept by identifying Jesus as the logos.
So you see my friend, this is not a new concept at all, it is very archaic and flowers fully in Christianity. I would argue that the Sunni concept of the Quran being "of Allah but not Allah" to harken to this concept as well.

    • @neophyteone712
      @neophyteone712 Před 3 lety

@Renkai Holyphrase you are speaking without knowledge my friend. "And the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven" Genesis 19:24 ... why are two Lords mentioned? Many Jewish sages did indeed argue there were Two Powers in Heaven, refer again to Philo, and the early Christians used this reference system to understand who Jesus really was. After the destruction of the Temple and the rise of Rabbinic Judaism, these earlier theological speculations were rejected by Jews precisely because Christians were using them. Again my friend, Father/Son, Lord/Lord of Heaven, God/Demiurge, are archaic. What one does not find is Tawheed.

If the answer is yes then the trinity has no problem working as an all powerful deity will have no problem being one being with three distinct sources of divinity. If the answer is no then you concede that your God isn't all powerful and has limits.

How do Muslims interpret the following verse??
Thus Said the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and fashioned the sign; question My son, and by my hand I will command him.
    ??
Does it not make logical sense if I am a son of my father then I am part of him?? And Therefore share some similarity ??
    In this context God??

Do you believe in the Old Testament? Muhammad is mentioned by name while Jesus not. Also there is no mention of the son of God or trinity in the Old Testament. BTW, islam is the only non christian religion that approves Jesus

I think the best explanation from a Christian Ive ever heard was from Jay Dyer. He was so good explaining it, he even beated Shabir Ally in a debate. I still think it makes no sense from the standpoint of why God would not make it clear that the Holy spirit is a part of God before the son came into the picture. And give a confusing revelation that there is a 3 in 1 package to his divinity.

      ** READ **
      Amen.
ISLAM was created in a cave.
      CHRISTIANITY was created in Heaven.
      Amen
      Peace be unto you all.
Only thru JESUS CHRIST can you walk the path towards the Kingdom of Heaven.
      Amen

Does anyone here believe that God is infinite?
Also how many numbers do you see? 3
Don't compare God to mathematics, considering He isn't limited to things of the created order.
