I had the pleasure of meeting Sandra & Colin a couple of times at the Royal Mint but it feels like I’ve known them much longer. Sandra gave off so much warmth and love that was infectious and she’ll be sadly missed by so many people who knew her.

I done a £2 hunt today, my best finds was an English commonwealth, I found the London roundel for the first time so that was good, I ended up with two of those. I also found an Isle of Mann 2018 coin the 40th anniversary one. I ended up with 101 commemorative coins in total from a bag. The most that I have ever found, I had bags where they were filled with them, I had act of union eight of the things in one bag. I am doing another hunt later on in the week, and I have a 50p bag on order so hopefully something good from that, as my 50p collection is lacking.

Another coin hunt for me today in July 2024, 13 50p's found 2 x Olympics Equestrian and Cycling. Ten £2.00 found which was a bit disappointing compared to my last find. Shakespeare Tragedy and History being the best of the lot.
