I can tell you other things, but being an Ange fan, I don't want to let out all his secrets. Although even if others try to copy Ange, it won't work as good. Expect your games to be exciting and fast and the team better and better each week !

Been following his career since he took over my local club, Brisbane Roar, and had us playing like Prime Barca. We won back-to-back premierships (only two we ever won). You give him better footballers and he just plays better football. He's a phenomenon. If anyone can break Spurs' trophy curse, it's this man.

The issue is that it's difficult to become a season ticket holder again if it is given up. So, there is a lot to consider if you decide to go on 'strike'.

to my Celtic mates , i`ve followed Ange from a youngster at South Melbourne Hellas , he came to my side Brisbane Roar and transformed us and we won 2 titles , he did the the same everywhere he went . his teams play as a team and they play fast attacking football and his teams don`t give up until the final whistle has been blown .

At 5' 10" he isn't that 'big'......he's of average size.....be better off calling him average ange
The best thing Ange has done is decluttered everyone’s brains. He’s given the players a dead simple game plan and a clear set of instructions, and reinforces the right attitude through positivity. Look at how much he’s getting out of the players, some of whom were playing very badly or were half way out the door mentally at the end of last season. Simple, uncomplicated, excellent.
This is so true. Uncluttered pure strategy. Simple and effective game plan. Brutal when it works.
Seems like he's been here for ages. Very confident in his methods and how he conveys them to the players. Looking forward to seeing how we play once we're fully familiar with his ways.
He is exceedingly confident if you watch the way he speaks in interviews aswell. I'm sure with that confidence he'll make the players buy into his methods.
@@TWS001 Yes his confidence - when I first saw Ange 15 years ago on TV here in Aus, he seems arrogant (being so confident), even his wife thought the same, but over time we learnt to love him. He is a nice man and when I met him, came up and said hello to me, even though I'm a nobody and talked to me just as a friend.

Agree, and Ange doesn't seem to "kick" them out, it looks like they they decide on their own. Although I believe a senior player at Brisbane Roar early on said "it's him or me* and was asked to just close the door on the way out.
I'm an Australian Rugby supporter who never really had an interest in football, until Ange joined my lil hometown team Brisbane Roar as coach. To witness that team come back from 2-0 down with 4 minutes to play in the 2011 GF and then win. That was something special. He's got a great way of making people believe in themselves and succeeding He never got a fair shake of the sauce bottle in Australia. I'm so pleased to see him garnering the respect he deserves in Europe. Good on ya Ange!!

Rangers fan here, but an Aussie based one. I keep telling other Rangers supporters this man is no joke. He's hard as nails and won't suffer fools. He laid waste to the A league down here with Brisbane (something like 30 wins in a row), took the Australian team to some great results and turned Marinos in Japan into winners (even with a big language barrier). Neil Lennon is not in Ange's league.

The emphasis on passing, movement and keeping the ball, Ange has a great way about him and you can see the players buying into this philosophy and working hard for the manager. Very hands on and quick to praise the good and identify the bad. He know the Celtic football way and I am so confident in the man, I cannot wait for the first games and see if he has been ably to put all the practise into reality. He's now come and gone, he has undeniably left a mark on this club, the squad that he inherited was a shambles, and he turned it around in 2 transfer windows, won the double in the first season, the treble in the second, could not have asked for much more from the big man apart from something better in Europe. Could've done with 1 more season with him but wish him the best of luck, just always remember him by the words he spoke at 1:57, WE. NEVER. STOP. 🍀🇦🇺

When you look at the players he had here (a combination of kids and seniors that wanted to leave) what the man has achieved is already up there with Martin, Gordon and Neil after only 1.5 seasons. We appreciate you Ange. Hail hail !!

Hi from downunder .... you will love Ange ... Celtic FC have just increased their fan base and now have a good percentage of 25 mil Aussies and 126 mil from Japan watching your games. He changed the game in Australia and Japan and now will do the same thing for Scottish football. Don't forget that Wegner was poached from Japan and like the French master Arsenal will have their eyes on Ange. So enjoy while it lasts.

Just thought I come back here at make a comment on my feelings watching this at that time. When you look at the players he had there to work with I felt sorry for big Ange because I don't think he truly knew the shambles he inherited.
But he stuck by his convictions. His belief in philosophy. Coming over to a club with no backroom staff unlike Eddie Howe takes some fucking balls. After losing our first couple of games to where we are now I have nothing but admiration for that man.
He knew key personnel had left or were leaving, he knew they went trophyless and finished 25 points behind Rangers. It doesn't get any more shambolic than that. Did it impact his decision to manage Celtic? Absolutely not.
He is just what we have been needing ...love his encouraging words...legend in the making Hail Hail
