Hello there,
Thank you for sharing this unboxing. I have just bought the same model, except I found the "Black Limited Edition". Exactly same machine. 439€ here in France.
The problem is that the parallel fence is not flat. In fact it has a twist, so really precise work will be tricky. Very noisy too.
One detail my friend: you always plane the LARGER surfaces first. The same goes for thicknessing. These are golden rules the old boys taught us.

When I test it, the machine works very well. Solid machine with thick aluminum work surface. The 2 functions work great. The wood comes out polished. Flawlessly straightens all the bumps in the processing of the tree. I recommend it.

Hi, I came across your video while researching planer thicknessers. I understand the 1080 has a better fence than the 1070, everything else is the same, what exactly is the difference in the fence please.

Warum wurde auf die Parallelität des Zuführ und Abgabetisch nicht eingegangen? Da soll die Maschine Mängel haben und ist für die Genauigkeit der Werkstücke von Bedeutung

Design flaw from the beginning, motor should be on the back instead of the front the guard should be a soring sliding guard what moves away by pushing the wood through. These flaws will not make me comfortable and I'm afraid for more wrong items with this machine.

It's an amateur machine. It works for small projects.

This machine is a piece of crap. The motor is overheating (turns off in couple of minutes), parts are not straight, the wall cannot be adjusted perfectly to 90 degrees. And I put it together from 5 different machines to get with it somewhere.
