    Oh yeah, very effective...for 500 euro's and it would only solve it partially for me. Since I have hyperhydrosis all over, and eliminating sweating on feet, hands and pits, would simply cause more sweating elsewhere. @dermadry  Před 2 lety +4

      Hey there! I'm sorry you feel that way. There are many treatment options for hyperhidrosis. Depending on the type and localization of your sweat. You can combine iontophoresis with systemic drugs like glycopyrrolate or oxybutynin to achieve complete dryness. Trust that we are here to raise awareness and help people find the right treatment option for them. We really hope you find yours! And by the way, Dermadry does not cause compensatory sweating like botox and surgery. Hope this helps! 💙💧 Stay safe!

My hands and armpits are the parts that bother me the most but my head and back sweats a lot too but idc. I just don’t want pit stains and sweaty hands all the time. Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to read that your husband has experienced discomfort while doing iontophoresis treatments. Iontophoresis is safe, but some individuals may experience discomfort or a strange sensation during the procedure. This sensation can occur for several reasons like sensitivity, incorrect settings (such as higher current levels than recommended), skin irritation, inadequate electrolyte solution (soft water), for examples. To minimize the sensation, it's essential to follow the instructions provided with your iontophoresis device carefully, and contact our customer support if you have any concerns or questions. Hope this helps! 💙

      Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can be triggered by a variety of factors, including stress, anxiety, or heightened emotional states. If you experience hyperhidrosis only when you're playing a certain video game, it could be because that this specific game induces a strong emotional response or high levels of stress in you!

    • @dermadry
      @dermadry  Před rokem

      Hi! Thank you for your question! 💙 If you have HS, there are several considerations: HS can lead to nodules, abscesses, and tunnels under the skin, especially in the underarm region. If there are open sores or lesions, iontophoresis may be painful and could potentially worsen the condition or cause other complications. Also to consider, the presence of HS might interfere with the effectiveness of iontophoresis for hyperhidrosis. The scarring and skin changes from HS might affect the way the electric current is distributed through the skin. Lastly, iontophoresis usually involves water, and the treatment itself can sometimes irritate the skin. If you have HS, which already makes the skin sensitive and prone to inflammation, iontophoresis could exacerbate these symptoms.
      Because of these factors, it's crucial to consult with a dermatologist or medical professional who's familiar with both conditions. They can provide advice tailored to your specific situation and offer alternative treatments if iontophoresis isn't suitable. Really hope this helps! 💙

      Hi! There are various reasons why the treatment may not be effective, such as resistance to treatment, microbial or fungal growth in the treated area, changes in health status and medication, or worn-out cables and electrodes. To address this, it is recommended to give the skin a break from treatment for 10-14 days and use an antimicrobial or antifungal wash on the affected area regularly. If there is no improvement, it is advisable to contact the Dermadry support team for a comprehensive assessment. 💙🤗

    • @dermadry
      @dermadry  Před rokem

      Sweat's main function is to control body temperature. As the water in the sweat evaporates, the surface of the skin cools. So sweating is good and healthy for you. Excessive sweating on the other hand is considered a medical condition and deserves to be treated.

    So what it means when out of nowhere you start to sweat and shake? It happens to me. 😢

    • @dermadry
      @dermadry  Před rokem

      Hyperhidrosis' only symptom is excessive sweating: it usually doesn't include shaking. The sudden onset of sweating and shaking can be attributed to various factors, ranging from physiological responses to underlying medical conditions or external triggers. Here are a few potential reasons: anxiety or panic attack, certain medications, hormonal changes, hypoglycemia, infections, and neurological conditions.
      It's important to note that this is not an exhaustive list, and there could be other underlying causes for sudden sweating and shaking. If these symptoms persist, worsen, or are accompanied by other concerning signs, it's advisable to seek medical attention for proper evaluation and diagnosis.
