At 4:23 when the zombie swings and knocks things off the table is so cinematic!
The key at 29:50 from the desk unlocks the last cell gate on the left prior to entering the fire chamber room with the four levers. In the back of the room behind the cages is a longsword that you can use it's usually decent. 27:03 is the last room on the left I am reffering to.
The key found in the desk drawers' around 30:00 can be used to open the first cell to the right (it will have 3 cages stacked/against each other) and a longsword can be found behind them
I also found out from reading the wiki that when you fond the blue spheres ABSOLUTELY PICK THEM UP! If you double click on them and then select a piece of equipment it will improve the condition of it raising the stats a little bit, bigger items may require more than one
To anyone seeing this video 8 months after: In the room you start game in, there is an iron spike on floor and a shield (barrel lid) which give you better survivability. You can fight with torch and shield and take less hits than just holding torch and a weapon. Practice in arena on how to use shield, its worth it.
This was a pretty nice video! A pleasant voice, a good quality recording, helpful advice and a bit of humor. I hope your channel can grow bigger, you definitely have the prerequisites in my opinion :) Might have to engage in some shorts and community posts for that, but that's up to you.
Tip for the puzzle rooms - use something to lean against the lever once it's in the down position. You get all the time in the world then.
Do you know how to make 2 levers in High position in room after?
I also found leaning something against the gates will block their path when they try to close, effectively breaking the gate and making it openable with just the cursor
i don't know if anyone's said it, but at 8:45, the chain vest you talked about was in reference to the chest/vault where you got the vambraces. i've had helmets, vambraces, bracers, breastplates, and all kinds of mail armor pop up in it, so while it is rng, it's still always good to check.
edit: at 15:22, just west of the cart with the two bags, theres an opened crate with a mace laying flat in it, and at 18:28, in that room, if you go to the western most wall and follow it south (directly southwest of where you were at the timestamp), there should be an opened barrel with a shortsword in it as well, it's always been decent quality or higher in my playthroughs, but the slash and thrusting damage was always pretty good, and getting one this early is always nice
another thing i don't see get talked about enough in videos or even walkthroughs/guides online, is that there's these inconspicuous baskets of hay(?) that can have some interesting stuff in them, they're very unnoticeable and for the longest time i didn't even know where openable. there's one in the room at 9:09, just on the right of where you walked past on the shelf, or just a few feet directly north of the note that's in the room, on the shelf with the pots and stuff. i once found a great condition long knife in it, but the loot i've experienced is mostly going to be tools of some kind or low quality stuff, but i have been surprised occasionally enough by great quality weapons and clothing that it think they're worth checking out in peoples playthroughs.
I just got the game 2 days ago and i am having a blast playing it. I just stumbled across a portal that takes you to an area filled with skeleton enemies and big monsters that are kicking my ass. I feel so underprepared for this area and it’s really giving me problems

Use training arena mode
Something ive found out was if you position something leaning against a gate, when you open the item will fall thru, blocking the gate from closing and then breaking the gate, making them openable with just the mouse cursor.
Btw, you can throw your torch on the ground before combat in dark areas so that you can use your secondary even without other light sources.

The "trap room" that you talked about is actually a series of puzzels that has some nice loot at the end.

29:46 This key is for prison cells, in one of which lays a longsword
Don’t know if you’re going to see this but at 7:47 if you lean something against the puzzle door and I falls and blocks it from closing you can freely move the door because it breaks it
Thats how I did it on my first go.
There’s a metal stake in the starting room that is better than the debris
They should add kicks so that you can keep your opponent at distance

I tried this game and it wasn't for me. However I LOVE to watch it. Awesome walkthrough, maybe I'll give it another shot!

very first puzzle room, you can use the painting on the right side of the cabinet to prop against the lever to keep it permanently open
i put a bucket on it with a chair beneath it. love how everyone has their own way.
The ornate dagger isnt such a bad find.
Also I think you missed the longsword guy. That one has always spawned for me so far. Usually stands tight up in the corner.
Also the map I find is useful. But I guess after a while one learns the layout

I've seen another walk through and in the room with the chest that had the iron ingots and the blacksmiths hammer in it there are metal bars, on the table by the door I think, which are a reasonably fast decent bludgeoning weapon that doesn't have the axe problem of hitting with the shaft being essentially a miss (it also has a little more reach than the one handed axe)
PSA for m’y fellow players: in the section where you travel underground to find the lab area with the big circular jail cells, the key you find in the chest actually has a purpose! After looting the chest and passing through the circular jail area again, there is a jail cell with some dog cages inside. Use the key to open it and behind the cages in the ground you’ll find an exceptionally well crafted long sword in somewhat worn condition. Use an orb on it (which you’ll probably find later in the game ;) ) and you’ll have an excellent weapon for many situations.
Disclaimer/clarification: the cell is on your right as soon as you pass back through the circular cell area. Also, not sure if the long sword spawn is consistent as I’ve yet to start another play through.

The only issue I can see is that you haven't explored the full map, doing the puzzles in the map, and only doing what is mainly the essential stuff to get, like the armory or the cells

Is there a difference in power between blast and bolt, or only the range difference?
The other abilities just push. The bolt does damage on contact (I believe)
I should do a video where I just go over all the force abilities.

Maybe he is just fell unconscious and stand up in a couple minutes? He looks like he just sleeps. I knew it, pretending again, little coward. Derrin, wake up you lazy bastard, it was just a little bolt, are you made of sugar! (crying and hugging Derrrin's limp body)
Bolt does a little bit of damage on contact + a little bit more if they hit a wall or something on the way down. But force magic's main strength is alowing you to deliver those devastating overhead strikes.

There are maps in the levels, but its just a paper with the layout you have to figure out where you are.

@GreyBeardGamingYT That there was! This game is massive! I found myself having to rewind and regain my bearings when it came to trying to keep up with room transitions and navigating the corridors, but aside from that, very useful and fun hearted video and commentary. Keep up the great work man! 👍🏻
This is the stupidest game I've ever played. There are no ways to move or attack enemies without first reading the manual. And the way they explain things in the manual is very stupid. I installed and tried 2 times and then decided to just uninstall it. I have no time to play stupid's game like this one.
combat is excellent, the save system is garbage
So you willingly bought an early access game that advertises itself as an "unique and unforgiving" game with a whole "this game is ACTUALLY different" tab on Steam, and you're pissed about it? The game warned you, but it makes sense that you'd be pissed about having to read, you clearly didn't read any reviews or the game's description.

Oh i absolutely adore this game if you give it a chance and spend some time in the Arena practice mode and use all of the techniques (ducking to slash low, stabing and overheads) it changes from sumotori dreams to a truly unique and excellent fighting game.
