It hits you...when you become a mom yourself...maaaan IT HITS YOU HARD to watch this and you hear it in their voices! mine are only 1,5month, 3yrs and 5yrs (+ baby angelgirl)...I bet I am gonna be like these moms too one day. All ready had kinda one of these moments when the eldest son came and hugged me hard as hell for just being gone about 6h (went shopping in a different town) but he was like 2yrs old only then. Grabbed my face and gave me a kiss and then hugged me hard as heck...made me cry big time. He had missed me soooo much and did not understand "time" so for him it was prob like 48h. He shocked me with it cuz even if he was loving already then he did not do it that serious and strong.
Just you wait....it gets worse. Mine is turning 18 and soon will be leaving the nest....I just can't😭
Goosbumps, I hope to see my son on this Christmas, it's will be the best gift ever 😭😭😭

I'm going home to California for Christmas this year. I haven't been home for Christmas in 5 years. Thought this Christmas will be sad because my dad wont be there. He passed away last year to cancer but at least I'll get to see my whole family and I'll be home.

last one was my favorite. the camera man was trying to hard to contain his excitement you could hear in his voice trembling. nothing is more important than family.
Remember coming home unexpectedly after a year away overseas in the Navy. I wanted to surprise the family, so I didn't tell anyone. When I got there, everyone was gone -- they'd gone on vacation. Spent the days of leave I had in the empty house, then caught a flight back to my base. It was kind of sad.

Many years ago, when I was stationed overseas, I got leave to go home for the holidays. I wanted to surprise my family, so I didn't tell anyone. When I got to the family home, nobody was there -- they had all gone to visit other relatives several hundred miles away. Stayed in the empty house for a few days, then flew back to my base. It was sad.
