This whole album was amazing. I was fortunate to the them in concert but wished I could again and go back in time. This album helped me get through my moms death.
A light rain fell the whole night, so this one really landed. The whole show was 10/10, but this song and "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" were the standouts for me.
You want a great Maybard vocal turn? Check out the album version of Fiddle and the Drum from eMotivE. The whole track is just him acapella with a bunch of layered harmonies and it's HAUNTING.
The vocal layering was genius use of reverb and delay. It's one of the best live performances I have ever heard. The production and mixing were perfection.
A Perfect Circle: An American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel a guitar tech of Adam Jones of Tool and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan. The band has featured a variety of musicians throughout alternating periods of activity and inactivity, and has changed line-ups on each of the 4 albums, leaving Keenan and Howerdel the only constant members. The original incarnation of the band included Paz Lenchantin on bass, Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar, and Josh Freese on drums. Primus drummer Tim Alexander had briefly stood in as a drummer prior to Freese in the band's initial live shows; however, this was prior to releasing any material. Band collaborator and producer Danny Lohner and Marilyn Manson bassist Jeordie White were also members for a short period in the early 2000s. The band's current lineup features Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, bassist Matt McJunkins, and drummer Jeff Friedl, the latter two also being contributors to the related Puscifer and Ashes Divide projects. This is a cover of Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks."
Their reaction vids to You Lied and especially to No Quarter are some of their best. His wife is so stoked when she finds out they're doing a vid of Tool doing No Quarter. You can tell they are true fans. No just passers by.
*Ah, maybe I got TOO LedZepped over all these years, and don't get me wrong, I like A PERFECT CIRCLE much, and if I didn't know this is a "When The Levee Breaks"-- cover I would say "WOW , GREAT song....", BUT now all I can think of is : "Where TF are those INCREDIBLE drum sounds gone....??"* ➡🔥🔥🥁🔥🔥⁉
I am probably the only avid TOOL fan that really doesn't care for any of Maynard's other projects 🙄 They have a few good songs but for the most part...Meh 🤷♂️
Thanks for doing this reaction guys this has been one of my fav songs for years , much love !
What’s up Grant! Thank you this was outstanding. And thanks for your support we truly appreciate it!
This whole album was amazing. I was fortunate to the them in concert but wished I could again and go back in time. This album helped me get through my moms death.
This whole concert is the best example of a "Perfect concert" the whole thing is a must watch.

Best guitar solo ever
That guitar solo at the end gives me chills every single time. And Maynard's voice is angelic. Incredible performance.
Agree. Chills, chills
You do realize this is a cover of Led Zeppelin's when The Levee Breaks right? They really made it their own song in this one. Simply Perfect
I was at this show at red rocks, it rained off and on. It was magical.

I second this. Such haunting and vulnerable lyrics and vocals.

The vocal layering was genius use of reverb and delay. It's one of the best live performances I have ever heard. The production and mixing were perfection.
The Rocky Mountain world is a place of magiic. The sacred geometry and and the audience were hugged by the mountain echoes.

What a beutiful cover. damn

Bonne réaction. Performance énergétiquement intéressante effectivement. Des vibrations émotionnelles plaisantes.
That was one of the most amazing things I've ever heard.
You guys introduced me to one of the best pieces of music ever. Thank you
Subbed
Billy on backing vocals and guitar! Checkout his new material it’s outstanding! 😎
You couldn’t say it better, thank you
Listen to Tool's cover of "You Lied". Now that is one of the best live covers ever
Just behind their cover of Led Zepps No Quarter. 😉🙂
Just so you are aware, they reacted to “You Lied” a few months ago. It’s a great one!
@@WarMashane oh okay cool, I'll look it up, thanks

How does Maynard sound so good and clear live he seems to always bring it
Way underated band
Great tune🤘great reaction😃
They absolutely made this song completely their own. Beautifully done.
Tool, APC, Deftones
I can say this is better than the original.
This whole show is phenomenal!
Ever heard their cover of Imagine? Definitely a must-hear.
Nice 👍🏾!.. react please to Rancid - Maxwell Murder studio version .

Great taste in music my friend, beast of a band hopefully they do some Rancid

essa cancao fala bem o q esta acontecendo no rio grande do sul brasil😥😢😭
was not expecting to get emotional watching this but…
I didn't realize the singer was from Tool when I first heard of them. Did you know ?
yes many of us knew .....
Their bassist is also with Maynard in Puscifer
@@darrenstaceyfrench really?? Didn't know that
At least overseas the band was promoted as the new project from the singer of tool. So, yes.
Just to give you some info, the new Tallah single Shaken(not stirred) drops tomorrow 😉
tesseract - king review would be sick!
Demon Cleaner tool.
I was wondering that myself, I felt there are multiple vocals from seemingly Maynard
Please guys react to The Outsider from this show. To me, one of the greatest on youtube
I saw that I can make a 1 time request with a cashapp donation, but after that is there a way to make more requests?
Umm, Maynard be soundin' like Simon LeBon.
That's a new take I can clearly hear tho 🤯
new Tallah - Shaken (not stirred)
No Quarter
Tool "No Quarter." Best. Cover. Ever. (2nd place goes to H.I.M.'s cover of "Wicked Game")
Synergy

I'm glad A Perfect Circle didn't pull a "Jimmy Page" and pretend they didn't know about this song!
Lollll
The guitarist is Billy Howerdal, he just LOOKS kind of like Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. He's bald & tall like BC, but skinnier.
I’m pretty sure she is talking about James Iha
That's Billy Howard though but he kind of resemble Billy Corgan so I get how you could make that mistake LOL since they're both rockers after all too.
I am probably the only avid TOOL fan that really doesn't care for any of Maynard's other projects 🙄 They have a few good songs but for the most part...Meh 🤷♂️
APC really got it, at least for me, now puscifer on the other hand.... I can't get a hold for the love of Maynard, lol
@@Agostoic I can see that as well. The "few good song" I mentioned are all APC. I can't even name a Pucifer song but I have listened to it.
