I want to freeze water bottles in it so you helped me out a ton. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, it does go down in temperature enough to freeze water bottles!

Here's another thing that works even better! Get a flexible USB Powered light, like the kind students plug into their laptop to light up their notes. Next to the controls on this, there is a USB Socket. When the door is open, you can shine the light down into the fridge. Then after closing the lid, you can put a cutting board on top and shine the light down on that to see what you're doing.

As for lighting it up inside, get a small rechargeable light with a Motion Sensor on it, so it turns on the moment you open the door, then turns off when you close it. I have a few of them in my kitchen cupboards so they light everything up until I close the doors. P.S. I'm in Canada too (Victoria, BC).

Thank you for watching. And yes, I'm waiting for a specific product to come back on stock, it's the Coghlan cooler light, its specifically designed so that it lights up when you lift the lid and shuts off when you close it. Canadian Tire used to carry it. I haven't seen it lately.

I did not keep mine for same reasons you determined plus one more. The one additional reason I determined had to do with the capacity. It was advertised as holding 40 12oz cans. That would be true if the center partition slots inside the fridge did not interfere with adding the last can, the 40th can. With all the other issues with fridge, you mentioned, plus the capacity issue, I told myself enough is enough. Admittingly, I just bought the same fridge again with a different brand name. I know the fridge will have most of the issues of the last fridge, but I am hoping the power and noise levels will be lower on this one. Thanks for posting your demonstration. It was comforting to know someone else had concerns similar to mine and I was not being overly nitpicky.

Thanks for sharing, admittedly this cheaper brand czcams.com/video/N5XUBTITLco/video.html has more features than the BougeRV. I ended up keeping BougeRV because the size worked better for me. Here's what I did to mitigate the flaws I found czcams.com/video/qr7MiF2r2TA/video.html. Maybe not the best way financially but still cheaper than buying the more expensive brands.

I guess your expectations for a portable car fridge is a little too high. You really should be pre cooling your items in your home fridge or freezing some over night and then all this thing does is maintain that temp without ice. There’s no actual cold air blowing across the coils and directly filling the inside. The coils get cold and wrap around the bucket keeping them cold or frozen. I guess once you know what you should expect then it changes your perspective. I used to have a $300+ yeti I had to top off with ice daily now I don’t have to deal with that.

Hey, thanks for watching! And yes, you ate right. But I've grown to like this more as I use it. And with my EcoFlow, I've brought it to camping and never had to worry about melted ice. I've head all sorts of coolers including Yeti, and I don't think I'm going back.

Well you bought the wrong fridge, I got the 37L and it is way better than the one you reviewed, go look at their website.

Thank for the comment, and yes I saw that. Aside from a few hiccups, this size fits our needs which is a fridge for day trips. I keep it on the center of the rear passenger seat on my minivan and it fits perfectly.
I may get a bigger one, not sure if it will be BougeRV, but for now this works.
