Damn bro I was literally thinking of the same thing and after I listened to Dr Myles Munroe I got to realise that were not free were just independent. In other for us to be free we need to be free in how we think we still have the mindset of a slave. Like I wrote the other day on my journal that we were used to be the muscles of the operation instead of the brain of the operation. Like we still think of employment instead of deployment be our own bosses that's how we to start thinking as generation. Were looking for job opportunities instead of creating Job opportunities.

@@legasaandrewmalephepa3335 , Exactly, and how can we think like employers, while our perception of life is shaped to be employees? Our fathers, grandfathers in most communities brag about how they were favored by their bosses, and as a child you build your future on the foundation that "I need to be hired and supervise others..."
It is when we grow, when we learn from people like Vusi, Myles, Onyeu, and yourself, that our lives are actually based on the wrong foundation which limits us to think, instead of becoming agent of changes in our community, economy and more, we need someone to do that for us, and appoint us.
We need mind shift, just an inch.

It's happened so many times when I've tried to help someone I see drive in start some kind of small business and then their tools or fruits of their labour get stolen or vandalised, often by their own neighbours. How is anyone supposed to get anywhere when people around you keep knocking you back down? It really makes me sad...

The hatred message is always the loudest one. On tv african decent people are most of the time stereo typically shown wearing their pants low, wearing lots of chains, etc. In SA, when there is a show with black people it's most of the time a violent one where black are displayed killing each other. Where is the hatred comes from, how do we root it out our community? When you see your neighbor with an expensive car, you too proud to ask him what he did to earn it, but you're not to proud to conspire against him and make his life miserable. Poverty is a state of mind, not a bank account balance.
