After almost 12 years, I finally got him on ebay. Always wanted this figure as a kid, and remember always watching these videos.

Hey spot would you ever consider doing a throwback on these figures?
Great review Spot! Just got this figure in today, and I've gotta say that this is THE best Batman figure ever created. Sure it's not as articulated as a DCU figure, but the sculpt is just amazing! I'm so happy to finally have it after a couple of years of waiting. Definitely the definitive Batman for me, and like in this review, this is truly a 10/10 figure! :)

i honestly think this is one of the figure i would gladly keep MOC because it is one of the First batman figure ( From the games) . and this is something that holds its value

Great review Spot. This is my favorite Batman, I think he just looks so awesome. I would love it if the cape was the same colour as his cowl. And being DC direct that's better articulation than most. A must have Batman for sure.
@gibblers1996 Nope these I actually got from Big Bad Toy Store, thats why I'm alittle behind on reviewing them because I had to wait for the backorder to be restocked

When you have those little imperfections on a figure that's maybe not as nice it's easier to overlook, but on something done as well as these Arkham series doesn't it just drive you nuts?! Another great vid!

Hi Spot, now that you've reviewed the NECA Batman VS Aliens figure, which headsculpt do you prefer, that one's or Arkham Asylum's? Thanks.
@TheReviewSpot When you said that this is not your daddy's Batman, this is my definitive version of Batman, dark, scary, and heroic.
I'd give it an 8.5. The sculpt is awesome but the thing I don't like is the lack of waist/ abdominal joint or swivel. Also the fact the legs ONLY moves out foward. Overall cool figure but can't do a lot of dynamic poses. But that's just me.

I forgot to mention, don't you think it's kinda unfair to grade a DC direct fig based on articulation? They are more focused on sculpt/paint than articulation.
I think if it was a DCUC or ML, then the articulation would make or break the fig.

@SciFiComicbookKing95 I think the first wave of figures were about 50, plus about 17 for shipping, granted that was to Canada, it would certainly vary if you lived elsewhere

I know this is really late to the party, but I was considering buying it though I do have one major concern. Are the gantlets, boots, and cowl blue or black? Because I prefer black, Batman in blue was always so weird to me. Thanks.

@TheReviewSpot I am hoping they make more stock for the inevitable Arkham City figures and even if they do I intend to preorder them as soon as they appear online.
I see there are some Batman Legacy Arkham City figures up for preorder online, but I don't think those are based on the game though.

I have the Battle Damaged one, but this one is really starting to appeal to me too.

@ninja4499 you mean the figure or the batman in the game?
He didn't have blue colors in the game. So people say he did and some people just like to think he just just grey and black but I played through the game multiple times and not once did his cowl or cape or any colors on him look blue. That's the only reason why I am hesitating on this figure. I think I may get the new NECA Freddy Krueger figure instead.

Great review, I think you may have given him a 9.5 instead of a 10 because he doesn't have great articulation, even though it's pretty good. Very fitting grade i thought. i will be getting the armored version can't wait. Thumbs up.
To be honest, I think the Arkham city Batman is a better, more improved version.
Improved articulation ( the cape doesn't hinder the arm articulation.) and a better sculpt ( at least in my opinion ) makes the Arkham City Version a win. You Should check him out !!!
@MarvelJacob it is blue you have to look closely it not like all black on the part when frank boles die try too zoom in the camera on batman face and look at the detail
I think that the head sculpt on this figure isn't right. I just don't think it looks good oh well

Awesome figure, shame about the imperfections you got on yours, as none of the original release had any.
It makes me wonder if they rushed out the second batch of figures when the first ones sold out so quickly.
My figure got paint problems in the eyes too! He is cockeyed!

Nicest Batman figure there is from the coolest Batman game.
I started to play the game too.
I am still excited playing this game and i want to play it till the end.
That never happend before.
I played the game now for 35%.
Now i am after the figures as well.

I just bought this at a local store ;)
i was a little disapointed when i saw the news for arkham city b/c i was hoping in the next game scare crow would be the main villian and batman would be in a wierd dream state haveing to solve some of his most dangerous crimes he's solved in the past and eventually escape and beat scare crow. i just came up with that when i beat the game and saw scare crows hand shoot up from the water. also that scare crow figure looks awesome.

just picked mine up the other day off an online store. Great figure but my paint aps SUCK!! the flesh tone on the face looks blue, he has a lazy eye, & the bat symbol on the chest is off centered.
