I'm 55 this year and back in 1993/94, I bought the 1/24 Fujimi Enthusiast Ferrari 288 GTO, where the box art showed a real 288 GTO (in yellow) racing on a circuit. I sprayed it in black and added wirings/cablings to the engine. I still have the 288 with me now. By the way, if you do some research, you will see that the left and right mirrors are placed differently on a real car. Greetings from Singapore. Gave you a LIKE! 😊👍🏻🤛🏻🤝
@@kluiscraft6043 Yes, I agree with you. The Enthusiast Series was (and still is) very detailed even after 35 years. I have the 1/16 Ferrari Testarossa Koenig which is still unassembled!
I bought this kit a second time three years ago and unbelievably it came with a huge fret of photo etch parts! I don't know why but I was blown away! It's a tough kit to build but it's the very best Ferrari 288 GTO there is! Beautiful build! 👍
Thank you! The photo-etch version make kit more realistic and detail when I want to build this kit I find every website and store for photo-etch but it out of stock everywhere.
Pink primer is the best thing to put before red to make it pop. That's exactly what it's made for. The yellow changes the tone of the red to make it look a little brighter.
Awesome work. I particularly like the engine, looks beautiful. Personally I'd have left it yellow, I believe there's one that was yellow from the factory. Looks amazing though.
Great-looking build. Congrats! Did you have any trouble getting the piping of the breather boxes in the rear of the engine compartment to line up with the turbochargers? I did when I built mine.
New Subscriber here. Did you apply a clear coat to this model or polish the basecoat? The finish is very shiny and reflections look good. What brand basecoat is that? Thanks, James
@@kluiscraft6043 thanks for the information. As I said earlier I like your video and you should do very well on CZcams over time. I’ve been on for 4 years now.

Fujimi made a lot of beautiful full-detail kit back then.

Who makes the photoetch for the kit?
@@jetpack5 Fujimi, in DX version.
The yellow under the red really makes the red pop. Awesome work. I love this.

@@nismojukerich2994It's about the final result do you want, red over pink primer make it 'deep red', yellow primer make it 'fire red'
Very nice work my friend!! Just don't forget to paint the A pillar to black colour like the real car. 😊👍🏼
Thank you 🤩🤩🤩
But I just notice the black color on A pillar and above the window frame when I just finished 😥.
@kluiscraft6043 haha.. your work is still really really amazing!! 😊👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
great looking kit and a perfect finish 👏
Thank you!
Fantastic work, was a pleasure seeing you build this Ferrari from start to finish. Interior is lovely too, super well done 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you very much!!!
Incredible lustre achieved on the paint job!!
Thank you!!!
Stunning, just stunning. Where did you learn to do the "extra" things you do to the kit?
Thank you! I just built follow my references.
Very nice build! I have this one in 1:16 scale in my stash
Thank you!
Hope you build and share on your channel.

Thank you. Yes it has a lot of trouble in this kit but it is very detailed kit back then.

Many thanks for subscribe!
Yes I apply clear coat but I spray really fast to prevent dust in the surface so I don't film it.
I use Glasurit 2K Clear.
