      @Isaac Brian Denny This is NOT how pentecostals are supposed to act. If you judge a brother for their personal politics, you are sinning. There is NOTHING wrong with being a liberal Pentecostal, as long as you stay biblically correct on the important issues. Other things like healthcare, taxes, etc don't really matter too much and aren't heaven or hell issues.
      I can't believe y'all would attack a 13 year old based on his profile picture and start to throw all these questions at him. It's absolutely upsetting to see this type of behavior from so-called "Pentecostals". You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You are the reason people are afraid to convert to Pentecostalism. They don't want to be judged like this poor kid.
      Thanks for being so rude to this kid and falsely representing the UPCI. Imagine if a newcomer were to read these comments you've posted, and think to themselves "These people are judgemental and bitter, I don't want anything to do with them!" That's a soul that is lost to the world because you decided to rudely declare that "Pentecostals can't be liberal".
      You really need to repent for these words, and apologize to this guy.
      Oh, and another thing: God is more important than politics. If you think that you have to be a conservative to be saved, please show me scripture that says that. Jesus isn't a republican or a democrat.

    • @duckduckgoose8049
      @duckduckgoose8049 Před 4 lety

      @Isaac Brian Denny I'm sorry you feel that way. The UPCI has been pushing down on judgement of others recently.
      I politefully disagree with your statement of the UPCI being a cult. Cults are extreme and practically imprison people. A lot of people that are hurt by someone quickly blame the UPCI over the individual that hurt them.
      It's all up to you anyway, and I'm not gonna judge you for it. You're entitled to your own opinion and I'm gonna respect that. Have a nice day, and I hope you're doing well.

    Quite emotional wouldn't you say? Why would you cry in church?

    • @von4774
      @von4774 Před 5 lety +7

      Mark Crowe have you ever obeyed Acts 2:38? Every time I repent of any sin, I cry. Almost every time I speak in tongues I cry. I cry all the time in church because I’m overwhelmed with the presence of God. The Bible is FULL of people weeping and crying in church. Even Hannah in the Old Testament temple was praying and crying because of a heavy prayer request she was carrying. The book of acts church was full of emotion. Are you a bible believer?

    • @von4774
      @von4774 Před 5 lety +7

      Mark Crowe yes sir! Thanks for your response. I see what you are saying. I don’t believe we have to cry forever when the blood and mercy of Jesus has already washed and forgiven us. I just noticed your opinion on why we would cry in church. I understand different denominations and religions have various styles of church services. All my life I’ve been in Pentecostal church services and sometimes I cry for mercy because of a mistake, but many times I’m crying just because I’m overwhelmed at the power, presence, visitation of God’s presence in the church service. I have been saturated with tears for over an hour in the altar before. It wasn’t because of sorrow for sin, I was just lost in the love of God. Also, many tears are tears of joy and thankfulness. Maybe we choose to disagree, but I do see multiple examples in the OT and the NT church of people weeping in the presence of God (church)

      Mark Crowe THE {BIBLICAL} PLAN OF SALVATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
      Being born again entails THREE specific steps:
      1ST: REPENTANCE FROM SIN
      This is NOT to be misunderstood as "accepting Jesus" as your savior.
      Repentance from sin is MORE than confessing your sin. Repentance from sin actually means to FORSAKE your sin. This is TRUE repentance.
      "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)
      2ND: WATER BAPTISM FOR THE ((WASHING AWAY)) OF YOUR SIN
      Water baptism was instituted by Jesus as part of the salvation plan.
      Jesus said: "He that believeth AND is baptized shall be saved".... (Mark 16.16)
      Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN OF THE WATER and of the Spirit, HE CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
      According to early church writings, being "born of water" AND "water Baptism" are identical in meaning - they are used as interchangeable terms.
      Water baptism washes away the sins of a persons past and transitions them into a brand new beginning in Jesus.
      "...Arise, and be baptized, and WASH AWAY THY SINS, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16)
      3RD: RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST
      Receiving the Holy Ghost is "identical" to being born of the Spirit.
      The "biblical" way a person will know they have received the Holy Ghost; will be manifested through a corresponding sign of "speaking with other tongues". Speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives you the utterance - is the EVIDENCE that lets you know you have been filled with God's Spirit!
      "And they were all FILLED with the Holy Ghost, [AND] began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." (Acts 2:4)
      ..."on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. [For] they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God".....(Acts10:45-46)
      The plan of salvation is summed up in one single verse in the bible. It's found in Acts 2:38:
      "Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU in the name of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF SINS, and ye shall receive the GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST."
      This THREE step process that Peter revealed in Acts 2:38, are the VERY KEYS of the kingdom of heaven that Jesus assigned to peter to preach on the Day of Pentecost.
      "And I will give unto thee (Peter) the KEYS OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:19)
      Since Peter was the man who was assigned the "Keys" to REVEAL the plan of Salvation, doesn't it make sense to follow the SPECIFIC steps that he inaugurated for the New Testament church to follow?
      Have you obeyed Acts 2:38? If not - today is a great opportunity for you to become born again ACCORDING to how the BIBLE teaches it.
      THE THREE STEPS TO BEING ((BORN AGAIN)) ARE AS FOLLOWS:
      1st - Repentance - (turn AWAY from sin)
      2nd - Water Baptism "in Jesus name" - (washes away sins)
      3rd - Be filled with the Holy Ghost (evidenced through speaking with tongues - Acts 2:1-4)
      If you would like to find a church in your area that practices biblical salvation through ACTS 2:38, please message me and I will be happy to try and help you locate you one. In Jesus name!
