    Would be interesting how this goes. The economy class which 18 of width and 31-35 of legroon would be amazing for the majority and I am sure they would love it
    And maybe Delta would do a hybrid of this business class and the one suite. Let see how goes, all depends on the passenger reaction.

    Flying this plane from ATL to HNL in a couple months, business class. I'm a little concerned about the lack of privacy, but the seats look huge and the cabin looks very roomy. Can't wait to see what it's like!

      Flew yesterday from ATL to HNL flight DL837, 9hr 44 minute flight. I’ll try to post some video, but my initial thoughts: The cabin feels very roomy and open as soon as you board. The seats are huge and comfortable, and there is a ton of leg room. Honestly, it’s almost too much. Don’t get me wrong, I really loved the seats, but it almost felt like the foot rest and monitor were a little too far away. It would be nice if they were a little closer so you could just stretch your legs out and put them up, but you have to recline your seat a little bit for your legs to reach the foot rest, which makes it a little difficult to get into a comfortable position to be able to see the monitor. If I was one who never flew first class before you wouldn’t hear me complain one little bit about this, this is definitely first world problems at their finest! even though the monitor is far away, the screen is enormous, so not that big of a deal. There is a remote control right beside you to control your IFE and lighting, and it worked perfectly. The fact that these aren’t suites like typical Delta One definitely makes you feel less private. It would be nice to have a little divider you could pull out, however, they stagger the rows slightly so it’s not like you make eye contact with the person sitting in the row next to you every time you look their way. We were on the outside aisle, and I took the window seat, and the space is open enough that when I needed to get out to use the restroom it was not difficult. Obviously when your seat mate is lying flat it can be tough to step over them, but it is doable. Lie flat was very comfortable. I slept for about four hours total, and the one nice thing about the seats being a little more open was the fact that you didn’t feel like your feet were crammed into a coffin. You could move around, and lay on your side without any issue at all. I am about 5‘11“ and I was extremely comfortable. Overall I really enjoyed the cabin and wouldn’t hesitate to fly this plane again. By the way, this was my first time on the A350, and if there’s one complaint I have about this plane it’s that the lavs are tiny! I’ll be in the Delta suite on the A330-900NEO on the way home so we’ll see if that changes my opinion of this cabin!

    I just flew Delta One class ATL > Dublin on this aircraft and I *hated* it.
    Nevermind that a technical issue with a headset delayed takeoff by three hours. Even if we had left on time, this would still have been an awful experience.
    Here are my observations:
    - There is no convenient, easily reachable storage for *anything.* There is a tiny, hard-to-reach slot in on the inside of your seat, under the console, where your outlet (mine didn’t work), USB and earphone jack are. The space is so small and awkwardly placed, and it’s just begging to have stuff fall out and under the seat while it’s in a recline position. There aren’t even cup holders anywhere so you have to store literally everything in this side pocket during taxi and takeoff
    - The footlocker is not particularly convenient or large and you can’t reach it while sitting or with your seatbelt on. It’s nice that bulkhead seats have a place to put stuff other than the overhead though.
    - The monitor is far away, and I didn’t care for the interface of the remote - clunky.
    - The video system had to be restarted and still kept freezing up to the point that I just gave up trying to watch anything.
    - There are no air jets to control airflow. Both my seat mate and I, who I did not know but thanks to the complete lack of privacy in this cabin is now my BFF, both woke up boiling hot in the middle of the night with no way to adjust airflow.
    - There is no privacy between the two seats. The partition comes out about 6 inches - totally useless. And the seat configuration means that if you’re sitting in the window seat and your seatmate is lying flat in the aisle seat, you’re climbing over them to get out. Why would anyone design it this way?!
    - There was no wifi available for the duration of the flight.
    - The water in the lavatory did not work. They provided packets of hand sanitizer but it’s hard to brush your teeth with that.
    - The food was meh at best and toxic at worst. Both my seat mate and I received spoiled melon on our breakfast fruit plate. It was reported to the attendant and supposedly documented.
    - I was in Seat 1A (not by choice) and every time someone flushed the toilet in the lavatory in front of my seat, my seat vibrated enough to wake me.
    - I did not find the lie-flat position to be comfortable at all. But the provided pillow was fantastic.
    Don’t get me wrong: it was (slightly) better than flying in the veal crates in coach but for what Delta charges for this cabin class, completely unacceptable.
    I’m astonished that anyone at Delta thought this cabin design was a good idea. I’ll be actively avoiding flights on this style of aircraft in the future.

    Thank you for this. And....it's Summer 2024 and that "temporary" seat product hasn't changed. Delta has a lot of nerve charging the prices they do and providing a substandard product. Typical U.S. carrier :(

    Flying this plane ATL - HNL in a few months. This video should win an award for taking the longest amount of time to convey the least amount of cabin feel of any ever shot. We get fifteen seconds of a pillow in D1 and we know there’s a flush button in the lav. Why in the world they let someone walk around on this empty plane to do something that useless is curious, to put it kindly.

      Sorry you feel this way. The real purpose of this video was to show the difference between this cabin layout and the standard DL A350 layout. Some find this visual useful....nonetheless, thanks for your feedback.

    The funny thing is that Delra's regular A350s don't match other Delta fleets either.
    Ex-LATAM A350s: Safran economy seats
    Delta One A350s: Recaro economy seats
    Virtually all other modern Delta Fleets: Pinnacle economy seats; yes, their 717s, 767-300s, 737-800s, and some 757-200s have Zodiac seats, but that's because those seats are old and Delta might retire them

      Yes! I like the Safran more than Recaro's for main cabin. They have that nice flip out cup folders - hopefully it will fit Delta's cups.

      @@JayYeasmin If you want comfort and space, I think the exLATAM Safran seats are better. If you value privacy above everything else, then go with the Recaro Delta One seats.

    This looks like an improved cabin than Delta's current A350. Delta One Suit is gimmicky and it looks like LATAM spent more money in economy with slightly better seats than the current Delta's.

      Terrible?! Wait until you have flown current Delta One Suite many times. Current D1 Suites on the A350 are not great - it's all a marketing fluff. Those seats are asymmetrical and become a problem when you want to do some work (and your dominate hand is against the seat bias that you are assigned). Storage space is non-existent. Cup/headphone holder require you to contort your body to access. Suite doors are flimsy... This 2-2-2 looks better.. Yes, a bit less privacy but more free space and equal space for everyone!

      @@_w_w_ Yeah, the storage looked a lot better with the cubby under the foot rest. I still think that having to step over someone is not up to business class standard. You could probably get better on Polaris...

      ​@@bostonaviation4860 Well only 2 people needs to step over someone and that's the price avgreek/window lover has to pay... I think Delta knows the issue with the current D1 Suites. They clearly spent money redid this cabin with Delta restylization and replacement of seat cushion/cover. All the LATAM cues are removed and replaced with Delta's and they could have spent a little more money and redo D1 but they didn't. I think they are waiting to see how passengers would react to this type of Business Class seat. I think there is a winner here... Suites are mostly marketing fluff.
