I was working around the area with another overgrown yard, as the weeks goes by, I've noticed this yard kept getting taller and taller. So after i finished my work I decided to knock on this door but nobody answered. Then I saw the neighbor came out so I asked him the story of this property. He told me that the guy who owned this house is in military service. He comes and goes and sometimes wont comeback for months. Then I told him that i'll be back in the morning to care for this lawn. Backyard was lock so I was only able to transformed the front lawn

Thank you for doing this for one of our active service members. At least one neighbor knows the owner of the home next store is in the military and is often gone for months at a time. But none of the neighbors pooled together to take care of the property for this active military duty American in San Antonio, TX. Meanwhile, in my neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI a young family bought a house in our small subdivision in 2021. They have a toddler who was diagnosed with cancer. He was at Children's Hospital receiving care for more than a year, and the family spent nearly all of their time in parents' quarters at the hospital with Dad coming home occasionally (also working full time). Neighbors not only took care of the lawn work for front and backyards in spring/summer/fall and snowblowing the sidewalks in the winter, we also donated money to Children's Hospital fund to buy Christmas presents for the kids in hospital in 2021 and 2022. Happy to say the little one is back at home with mom and dad, they came back home late last week (today is 6/12/23). Come on neighbors, take care of each other, help where it's needed, don't wait to be asked.
You can see house across the road has US flag showing. But can’t be bothered to show real respect to a serving soldier by spending 15 minutes to mow this guy’s grass. You & your neighbors show the reality of care& helping. Well done to you all. Mr Cris, you’re the best, an example to many. Thanks.

It is shameful that not one neighbor could have ran their mower over his grass..as a minimum. I never understand that.
That's what I'm saying! Telling the person the man's in the military, but why didn't any neighbor's assist, since some knew he was away? Wow!'

Any time someone helps a veteran or a currently serving person, they have my respect! If the neighbors knew this gentleman well enough to know he was in service, you would think they would do a minimum job on his yard; not necessarily a weekly mow, but before it gets to this level. I hope he gets to see his yard before it gets to the state you found it in.

The neighbors knew he was serving and couldn't take a bit of time to help him out? Shame! and they could have each shared a bit of time to keep the house looking occupied and not attract burglars/ squatters/ Meth lab to the neighborhood

@@ronm2023 and if you know his story you’ll realize he’s not in the lawn care business. All of this he does outside of his normal job (graveyard shift). I don’t care what revenue he gains from this but the fact is, his work is commendable and many of us want to see it.
Making money? Untrue. Google how much a YTer makes with less than 20,000 subs and less than 10,000 views. If he were raking in $10,000 or more per month, he is still providing a service to those in need and helping his community. All recognition of his yard transformations is more than deserved.

Happy you did that for serviceman, Vietnam Vet myself & partly disabled. Have 2 antique riding mowers & both out of commission so have to mow an acre with a self-propelled push mower now.
