I'm in ooty right now, like if anyone is there..

Very beutiful place
Where did you stay
An English man ,a tourist from England said to me, " I have never seen a hill station like Ooty!!
Wow😍

Welcome Ishan 🙏
Impressed with your unbiased detailing of the must visit spots in Ooty and surrounding areas. Dr. DHANANJAY SHAH from RAJKOT Gujarat
Thanks a lot sir🙏🏻
Thank you much... very useful and informative for those going first time....adding to this the tips and suggestions you provided are appreciable :)
Welcome Anju. Thanks for the appreciation 😊
Mee too going for the first time...
I have recently visited Ooty and would like to appreciate well maintained roads in entire Nilgiris. I travelled to Kodanadu View Point, stretch in Kotagiri, and in entire trip, did not find a pothole. It definitely added to the entire travel experience. Hatsoff to TN government. Needless to say, Ooty is a beautiful place. If you haven't been to Kodanadu View Point, try it out, it's little far from Ooty, but drive stretch is great, with very sparse population, full of greenery and the view point is breath-taking. There is a cottage too called Paradise Peak Cottage, if you want to spend a day or two, it's worth it.
Thanks for sharing your experience Nishant 😃 true words
Can we rent a scooty in Ooty . If yes can please send number of agent .
Did you need to get an epass? The server seems down from weeks!
Thats Tamilnadu🔥🔥💕
No you dont get.. get ur own vehicle or hire a taxi or rick but remember one thing its too expensive @@prakharagarwal9320

@@user-gn3rb8rh7mwhere did you stay?
Very nice video with all the details. You could have mentioned about Ooty flower show and Coonoor fruit& vegetables show. High quality video. Thanks for your sharing.
Thanks a lot Ravi. Didn't know about Coonoor fruit & vegetable show. Will cover in the upcoming videos 😊
Never stop making content cuz your work is pretty amazing showing the off beaten places and touristy places seperately, the amount of information you give about the particular place, your consideration of climate crowd etc added to the narration is just mind blowing and very thoughtful to be honest. Love it.
Thank you for your kind words Jenefa 😊
Today I am going to deserve an beautiful places❤😍.... Thank for your best informations
Welcome :)
😂 I'm here after samuktha Ooty vlog .... Surprised to see her in this video ! I commented to list even the expences also in her video .... But you've given every information needed ! ❤️
Thanks buddy. Her video is the best 😊
Nice video. There are few things
1. Ooty city do not have monsoon rains. Ooty is in the middle of Nilgiri ridge point. West of the Ooty city gets summer monsoon (South West Monsoon) and east of the ooty city receive Winter monsoon (North east monsoon). Ooty city is a dry place, receive rain during non-monsoon time(April end to May mid)
2. In toy train from Mettupalayam to Coonoor, it uses steam engine(even today), from Coonoor to Ooty, it use diesel engine. From Mettupalayam to Coonoor, tracks have third rail with rack and pinion gear wheel.
3. Nilgiris offer many altitude and rain experience, Devala, O-Valley, Nadugani, Naduvattam is in same altitude and tea estate terrain like Wayanad(~1000m), so you get Wayanad experience.
4. Kotagiri-Kodanad and Manjoor-Manjacombai-Thaishola area sits in same height as Munnar(~1500-1800m), also has similar ridges and tea estates. So, it gives Munnar like feel.
5. Ooty sits in 2200m height, only Ooty and Kodaikanal city sites above 2000m in the South same height as Shimla.
6. Avalanche-Upper Bhavani sits above 2400m, they provide different eco-system.
Hi Vijay, thanks for mentioning such fascinating facts about Ooty. 👌🏻 This makes Ooty even more special than what I had explained. Thanks for corrections too.
Does it rain during the first week of June???
@@apekshasarashetti5125 In June, it will be mostly drizzle, not heavy rain. But it will be crowed, weekends, you will be stuck in traffic, so explore places like Kotagiri, Kodanad, Coonoor-Kotagiri between areas. Ooty city sits >2200m height, higher than Kulu-Manali-, Darjeeling. Twice the height of Coorg, for ex. Ooty city is taller than any highest point in states like KA, AP, TS, MP, MH, RJ, GJ, DH, OD, BR, JH..etc. Nilgiri district is just 2550sqkm in area, in that 1000sqkm is protected forest. So in the remaining 1500sqkm, there is always a place that see rain and always a place with dry-perfect weather depends on the season, you need to find that perfect place. During SWM period, best place is Ooty, Coonoor, Kotagiri, During winter, it is Ooty, Devala, O-Valley, Nadugani, Pandalur, Avalanche.
@@vijays8555Thanks for the info...but we are planning to go to Ooty the coming week that is 3rd of June 2022 .....so we are about worried if it is good to go to Ooty during this time as we have already reserved a place to stay at Ooty....so does Ooty have good weather during this week???
@@apekshasarashetti5125 There will be intermittent rain like any other hill station in south in June. When monsoon picks up in Kerala, Karnataka, Ooty-Coonoor rain will go down. As now now, many Ooty gardens/parks will be filled with flowers. Expect crowd inside City on weekends. Plan one day for city, one day outside city. Boating in Pykkara is much better than Ooty lake.

Bro Ooty Toy train still runs on Oil burnt Steam engine from Metupalayam to Conoor, It's not replaced with Diesel. From Conoor to Ooty alone diesel engine is used.
