There is something magical about the British Royal Family and the pageantry they display. The traditions, the ceremonies, the parades, the Trooping of Colour, the Horses + Bands etc. It's perfection. Such hard work and practise to ensure it runs as smoothly as is possible given the unpredictable nature of both animals - horses, getting spooked by noises, smells, crowds + by another horse, Plus the unknown spontaneous factor of children simply being children. Innocent. Delightful. Honest. Fun. 🇦🇺

Get real , this is why all the tourists come to the UK for all the pageantry of the Royal Family. It brings in millions of pounds to all the businesses and hotel accommodation, through out London and historic sites outside of London .
So? It brings a lot of pleasure to many.
And they need the money badly as we all know. Their NHS is crumbling to bits.

This year’s isn’t until Saturday 15th June - & that may not happen because of our General Election!
This years general election does not happen until the 4th July so you are off the mark, people have paid good money to see the trooping of the colour.

I wonder how much all the security for that cost the British tax payer
They were surrounded by the country's top regiments, no additional security required. These are not toy soldiers. In any case the security of the RF is costed into the Sovereign Grant which is 25% of the sum they pay in tax on their private income. They represent a large profit for the taxpayers, even more so when the tourism e earnings are costed in.

Most nations have military parades. The UK's economy is strengthened by tourists who visit to see your Trooping of the Colour.
A lot of people would lose their jobs and many businesses and farms would become defunct without the monarchy.

Why use carriages when the car is driving behind uses fuel who cleans up the horses waist . Because surely you cant just leave it car drivers will be unhappy and you cant blame them ?

I feel like there's no need to be mean. The British monarchy is more of like a tradition. You will notice the king/queen do not have any power like back in the day, now most of the power goes to parliament. What I'm saying is not correct but to put into simpler terms they are more for show, not too say they don't do important things which they do. As for your question, horse waste is cleaned up just not by them, the people who clean it up are payed to do so it's not like forced slavery. You are right it may be simpler to use a car than horses, and they usually do use cars, but on special days like this they prefer the horses as once again horses were a big deal back then. It's kinda what makes the UK the UK . Horses were especially used in wars and sometimes still used, they are fast and strong. And not to mention the horses are treated better than any other horse. They get fed good food, they have place to walk and run around, they are loved and cared for. It's the reason there skin/ fur is so healthy and shiny. When horses get agitated to a point they can't handle being on display anymore there's many videos showing the guards taking them back inside and once retired they still live a great life
It's about time the British royals look to their horses. No more mouth pieces or heavy shoes. There are now ALTERNATIVES.
