Anniversary Speculation: Safe to say Lyfe is going to be the Main Anni premium 5 star. Surprisingly Marian was set up to be the other (free) 5 star, but I also think its possible Fenny will be the free 5 star instead. Usually I would expect a free skin or two, but the devs already stated they wont give away free skins anymore. So unless they change their mind no free skin :( Most likely they will give a 5 star selector, hopefully 2, one for a character the other for a weapon. besides this I have no idea what else they might do.

I'm still waiting for improvements to the dorm itself that's not just paid skins. Also would love it if they started adding older characters to the standard banner we already have alot of power creep characters so it's not bad to ask for older characters that are not viable anymore anyway. I'm personally not unhappy with the redesign for siris. Id be happy if they just changed all the older characters to have more consistent designs with the new vision. A lot of the older characters just are bland. I'm enjoying fanservice on the new characters but they really need to just update the older ones to. I think half the problem is the inconsistency the beginning half is still non fanservice characters and then later suddenly their are hot as hell characters lol. Sorry to all the Lyfe enjoyers but she is pretty meh unless you get a skin. I'm all for variety too despite my preferences for Enya type characters I understand some people like other character designs. So I'm glad people got cherno and eachel. Marian would be awesome as a anniversary character. Hopefully they add more fun features to the game id really love features like Nikke goddess of victory where you can talk to the characters daily and bond with them. I personally like master love type stories but I definitely think they need to improve the writing it's better than earlier chapters i think but not by much. I don't mind if its in the main story as long as it's well done. I want those good moments with the girls we like but it should be better written but I don't want it to just be in the side stories personally. Nikke already does that and it annoys me to no end that I never get to see the bond between the commander and the characters outside of a few random side stories. Thanks for the video! Personally, I think it be great if the two five stars are both Valkyrie girls Lyfe and Fenny, and they follow the Valkyrie games theme events. The game launched with Valkyrie games theme. So why not use it for anniversary? Thats what I kinda hope,, but then I think about my poor wallet if they do release Fenny. Im already planning to spend in Wuthering waves when Jinhsi comes out... Please have mercy.
Ah yes here we go again the ''Snowbreak bad'' video you make for every version, it is genuinely impressive how you are never satisfied with the game. You claim they are cataring only to people that like big body type when they released Eatchel just 2 versions ago? Why did you leave that out? Also the never ending complaint about game modes, when they try to do something else with the wave defence mode we have gotten every version it's still bad, when they try to add new gameplay to the tower defence coop that is also bad. I feel like what ever mode they make you will never be satisfied with it. And how come you left out talking about the new gacha system and the ability to get the old event weapons and logistics sets out of the video? All of this just seems like you want to draw a negative picture of the game and the developers when its not really the case.
I will say that i currently love the direction Snowbreak is going and love the designs and quite a bit of things were getting even if i necessarly won't interact with it all. With that being said, as much as i like the new Siris design, i totally get how some ppl would feel "betrayed" especially if the o.g. siris was your favorite girl! This could have been solved easily if this redesign was actually just a new character! I do feel bad for the O.G. siris lovers.
The devs don't want to make a 5 star version of Siris for the 10 Siris fan out there. That's just not good money. Siris was second to last in term of populariry, right now she is the 3rd most popular character. Same thing happened to Cherno. Not popular 4star variant and the new design placed them number 2 during the 1.7 update and she is the number 4 right now. And the same thing going to happen with Nita, because she is the least popular character in the game. As for Acacia, she is on of the fan favorite, so she does not get a drastic redesign. Fritia also more popular then Haru, Yao, Chenxing, Marian...so she also in a good spot.
Just started playing for like 2 weeks so I haven't been really familiar with the cast and thus has no attachment to previous design and all, but ngl I'm not a fan for body size redesign. If every character has the same big booba big ass body type, it's gonna be boring imo. I'd rather a game have characters for both the huge badonkers and pettan enjoyers. Variety is the spice of life, after all. No reason why flat and medium girls can't have sexy skin too without giving them breast surgery
In terms of story (Idk if you saw thier post or not) the devs did say that they will redo the first 10 chapters at some point to fit the new current narrative (Self insert MC harem VN) so that why the new stories basically don't touch or even try to continue stuff previously mentioned in terms of how good the new 10 chapters will be who knows they also didn't say when but it's in the back log of things to do at some point (I'm not a story guy so not a me issue). Character design I'll give you that, I do think more variety could be done but with the current amount of money they are making with this specific stereotype of characters Idk if they would be willing to experiment yet (Snowbreak is still going up in revenue every month, In May alone they made around 22 million dollars which is the highest it has ever been) I do think though it would be smart to start branching out but it all depends on CNs opinions cause they are the main money makers. I feel like Lolis could be the only other thing they would tap into but who knows how far they'd go with that (I feel like shortstacks might be the closest thing we'll get for now, I personally don't like lolis or child like looking characters but I get there is fandom for that). Overall though I think the game is doing what its suppose to be, just a casual gacha game with fanservice on a 3D character. Do I wish there was more gameplay? Yes, but currently with the way things are going I'm content for now.
Thank goodness I never heard they were redoing the story that would be amazing! I personally didn't enjoy the story but there is potential there especially if it's a unified vision. As for character variety that would be nice. I mean fenny is supposedly extremely popular even on CN side and she isn't exactly popping out of her bra 🤣. Lyfe is also pretty popular and she is flat lol I mean she is the poster girl and despite siris being the main focus the most recent chapter has been mainly about trying to cure lyfe. Maybe Katayas shower scene is a hint we will get working showers in the dorm? Keeping it casual is key this game really suffers if you take it seriously there just isn't enough there. Its fine to pop in for dailies and stuff but you will burn out fast if you try grinding hopefully they do more with all that massive funding they got 23 million dollars is freaking hoyoverse levels of money that's insane I hope we see some good improvements across the board and not just tons of skins
So I'm going to be honest with you, I actually prefer the new body type over the old one based on her description. Her older look just didn't feel as if she was the older operative on the team. I also think that people are not necessarily upset with the look of it, but more so that there was no explanation as to why she changed to that. I think it would have been better if they would have put this in a story element. Maybe she didn't feel confident about her body and then all of a sudden now she's showing it off more , as an example. So I understand why it frustrates people but from a business standpoint, money talks. It's like why would you not change it and reap the benefits of doing more with audience, especially coming out of EOS. I just think that they need to come up with a better way of changing existing material in the future if they decide to change more characters, that's all Also hot take, so you know how Maria Swift was based off of Taylor Swift, what if Sirius was based off of Billie eilish? Think about it. Her four-star wears baggy clothing just like Billie does. Now their body type is the same after becoming more revealing. I could be reaching, but oh well, just a random thought lol 😅

Siris paid skin also add insult to injury because it is better than her default one, they just need change it to be more tactical with Betta Fish theme.
great video, i've just started the game (this week) and i've already been abit concerned about the actual gameplay as i'm progressing. the game seems EXTREMELY easy, and that's putting it mildly; the very very initial impressions that i got was that covering and different weapon ranges would be important and that the combat was somewhat strategic. However, since pulling Siris, i've been mowing down every single piece of content so far and as satisfying as that is, i can actually feel my braincells dying off in my brain as i'm watching that ass crush any resistance being put up. I've also noticed this ''cringe'' writing.. The most notable difference was, for me, going into it starting from the early story chapters, and then seeing the contrast in chapter 12. It's.. something alright. I somewhat expected this game to be somewhat like this, i do however hope that something is being done to make the combat abit more engaging cuz idk if im down to play this game solely on fanservice, as great as it's.
The game was originally supposed to be a tactical cover shooter, but that got abandoned early on. 1.1 was the last time they tried to make us be "strategic", and it was really fun imo. But starting from 1.2 they shifted into a more skill spam gameplay model.

I've said a few of my thoughts on reddit, but just to touch a few here Siris is a top 5 character for me. I include her on my 5 slot profile to show this. I play her 4star in coop modes. Her oringal story and memory loss is appealing and interesting.. Yes what you said is correct. Im and digusted taht they could just give her plastic surgy like that. More so it ruins the immersion of her character. She was never big in the chest and thats fine. Now they just changed her boob size to huge just FOR CHEAP SALES. I pisses me off. Immersion out the window. I refuse to pull on her 5star out of protest, and watching her game play. Its braindread and her ultimate looks so bad. Then she got powercrept even more.. Powercreeping is another issue thats accelrating right now, but thats for another time. I made the same point before you have about game modes just being boring and static. I have ask for them to change it up, throw us some curve balls. Randomise it! but it ever remains the same predicablity. Give us an ever harder mode taht we can actually loose. Make us have to work together. No surprise you picked up on that too. They improve the tower defence mode, but still lacks some fundemantal stuff like this. I already said my peice of why they remove males from the game. Why they taking wholesome moments between characters out of the game.. I dont mind fanservice, some flirting memes here and then, a pantyshot there. New characters taht do have larger prepotions. There were so many other ways they could of done fanservice without doing what they did the Siris. But right now it feels like they are just ripping soul from the game. Going back and reconning important moments out. I hear they're removing alot of Enyas growth early on too. Enya was betrayed and humiliated in front of the adjutant, but thats part of her GROWTH from a story perspective. She learned a lession from that. It makes perfect sense now why she hates Gavin to the core.. I do want to see as part of the story the girls interacting with the other girls. Team bonding and story. What worries me the most. is I love the fact Beatrice is a Fenny fangirl back from the valkyrie games days. That is established. When we get beatrice I want to walk into her room and see tons of Fenny merchandise. I want to see the simping interactions between her and Fenny, its be super cute and halarious. We can simp together :) But I worry, with how Seasun is going in direction, even thats going to be removed from the face of the earth. Comments too long, will end it here. But yeah, I follow alot of your opinions. I really hope they wont rip the soul out of this game anylonger. Im also a snowbreak launch player. Story and game/gunplay is what I live most about anime games. I follow the stories and world building as best I can.
You've been ranting on the same topic on all of your videos for several months now m, youve made a video saying you dont want to kill your channel, so make a different one, like the buff, event, predictions, story, shop or whatever. Yeah some people dont like these changes, but some people also do like it. We know why they did this, it saved the game, if its the better choice so to make the company afloat and keep the game alive, so be it. They know its the best choice, instead, do a different topic instead of reapeting the same rant over and over again.
I'm still waiting for Page to actually go in-depth regarding gameplay. He says the game is repetitive and easy, but I've yet to hear him provide actual solutions. Yeah, sure, new gamemodes would be fun, but the last time I've played any shooter game, even coop, they all have pretty much have one main "gamemode", where you spend 90% of time. Randomization is a nice idea only when the modes aren't tied to the leaderboard. I would like devs to add more hardmode story stages. But I don't think that would still be enought for Page.

I tend to see where he is coming from at least. But the reasoning, context and solutions are always lacking. "Game is too easy and repetitive for us, old fans" doesn't actually provide any feedback or explain the problem. I've been playing since launch and I struggle with "danger" difficulties in some events. But, yet again, most my characters use 4* weapons and have M1 - M2. And how can you make shooter less repetitive? I personally don't think the game needs round-based zombies from CoD. Nor do I think it's reasonable to assume they can develop a rogue-like where each of 15 characters has branching upgrade paths. Maybe they can create some goofy Vampire Survivors mode? Would they experiment after people cried about pokemon mode tho? It really isn't as simple as calling the game "boring" I think Page doesn't need to be Nonpon to be interesting. He can have his own content style. But it doesn't do him any favors when his returning video doesn't go beyond what he has been saying for several months at this point
Haru and Enya also got redesigned bodies back in the dark ages. 5* Haru has been drastically buffed for her new look. So was Enya in her swimsuit skin. Petite Katya? Sign me in. 4* Siris had the worst design in the entire game by far. I'd like to meet those 7 Siris fans (pre-1.8.), who genuinely thought that she looked good in those yellow stripes. The new one, while not entirely unique is at least appealing. No matter what cups you give to character, if they act like Goldfish, they are a Goldfish. I got used to both her and Cherno in a matter of days. And if you really are afraid of other flat girls following through, please remember the character polls. Nobody actually liked Siris, but people like current Acacia and Fritos.
As for the story: Pure cringekino, I'd rather them continue selling the harem narrative rather than spend another 10 chapters introducing concepts they never end up using. Chinese community wants a waifu game, they are getting a waifu game. We are just along for the ride. The overall writing didn't actually suffer. I would argue that new chapters are actually more interesting story-wise. Like, they actually followed through with one random voice line of 4* Siris about getting home and connected this to her parents and Ganges. We got to see Lyfe question Agave, Adju was doing some more badass things. Let them cook, I've seen what they can do with their characters, they are good (Make Tanya playable please, I want to make her happy, we will make Ru- Yehrus great again)
Ah, so nothing has changed since the change. The community and it's new players are still single-minded as ever, mostly talking about fanservice and nothing else. They'll get to the point where old players are now eventually in terms of power, the repetitive and wasted potential in gameplay will creep up on them. Once they start seeing past the fanservice, they'll probably feel the same way. The story will lose a shitload of depth when it all changes to just dick-riding the adjutant. But it's not like they cared about it at all lol The Snowbreak we played, soon won't exist anymore man. That's just the sad truth.
I like the fanservice and everything, but I am tired of girls deeck-riding main dude. Nikke goes almost the same. It's okay to have a few girls interested but when everyone's sole existance is to live for and think about main dude it gets tiring. Need characters and stories that don't make main dude the only important thing in the world. Specially when said MC has a creep design (hidden face, unexpressive) typical from a dark H rapist.

The Siris skin would have been a better base design honestly.

Yes what you said is correct. Im and digusted taht they could just give her plastic surgy like that. More so it ruins the immersion of her character. She was never big in the chest and thats fine. Now they just changed her boob size to huge just FOR CHEAP SALES. I pisses me off. Immersion out the window. I refuse to pull on her 5star out of protest, and watching her game play. Its braindread and her ultimate looks so bad. Then she got powercrept even more.. Powercreeping is another issue thats accelrating right now, but thats for another time.
I made the same point before you have about game modes just being boring and static. I have ask for them to change it up, throw us some curve balls. Randomise it! but it ever remains the same predicablity. Give us an ever harder mode taht we can actually loose. Make us have to work together. No surprise you picked up on that too. They improve the tower defence mode, but still lacks some fundemantal stuff like this.
I already said my peice of why they remove males from the game. Why they taking wholesome moments between characters out of the game.. I dont mind fanservice, some flirting memes here and then, a pantyshot there. New characters taht do have larger prepotions. There were so many other ways they could of done fanservice without doing what they did the Siris. But right now it feels like they are just ripping soul from the game. Going back and reconning important moments out. I hear they're removing alot of Enyas growth early on too. Enya was betrayed and humiliated in front of the adjutant, but thats part of her GROWTH from a story perspective. She learned a lession from that. It makes perfect sense now why she hates Gavin to the core.. I do want to see as part of the story the girls interacting with the other girls. Team bonding and story. What worries me the most. is I love the fact Beatrice is a Fenny fangirl back from the valkyrie games days. That is established. When we get beatrice I want to walk into her room and see tons of Fenny merchandise. I want to see the simping interactions between her and Fenny, its be super cute and halarious. We can simp together :) But I worry, with how Seasun is going in direction, even thats going to be removed from the face of the earth.
Comments too long, will end it here. But yeah, I follow alot of your opinions. I really hope they wont rip the soul out of this game anylonger. Im also a snowbreak launch player. Story and game/gunplay is what I live most about anime games. I follow the stories and world building as best I can.

You've been ranting on the same topic on all of your videos for several months now m, youve made a video saying you dont want to kill your channel, so make a different one, like the buff, event, predictions, story, shop or whatever. Yeah some people dont like these changes, but some people also do like it. We know why they did this, it saved the game, if its the better choice so to make the company afloat and keep the game alive, so be it. They know its the best choice, instead, do a different topic instead of reapeting the same rant over and over again.
I'm still waiting for Page to actually go in-depth regarding gameplay. He says the game is repetitive and easy, but I've yet to hear him provide actual solutions. Yeah, sure, new gamemodes would be fun, but the last time I've played any shooter game, even coop, they all have pretty much have one main "gamemode", where you spend 90% of time. Randomization is a nice idea only when the modes aren't tied to the leaderboard. I would like devs to add more hardmode story stages. But I don't think that would still be enought for Page.

He ranted about a lot of things. His general thoughts are fine, actually. I tend to see where he is coming from at least. But the reasoning, context and solutions are always lacking. "Game is too easy and repetitive for us, old fans" doesn't actually provide any feedback or explain the problem. I've been playing since launch and I struggle with "danger" difficulties in some events. But, yet again, most my characters use 4* weapons and have M1 - M2. And how can you make shooter less repetitive? I personally don't think the game needs round-based zombies from CoD. Nor do I think it's reasonable to assume they can develop a rogue-like where each of 15 characters has branching upgrade paths. Maybe they can create some goofy Vampire Survivors mode? Would they experiment after people cried about pokemon mode tho? It really isn't as simple as calling the game "boring"
I think Page doesn't need to be Nonpon to be interesting. He can have his own content style. But it doesn't do him any favors when his returning video doesn't go beyond what he has been saying for several months at this point
Haru and Enya also got redesigned bodies back in the dark ages. 5* Haru has been drastically buffed for her new look. So was Enya in her swimsuit skin.

4* Siris had the worst design in the entire game by far. I'd like to meet those 7 Siris fans (pre-1.8.), who genuinely thought that she looked good in those yellow stripes. The new one, while not entirely unique is at least appealing. No matter what cups you give to character, if they act like Goldfish, they are a Goldfish. I got used to both her and Cherno in a matter of days. And if you really are afraid of other flat girls following through, please remember the character polls. Nobody actually liked Siris, but people like current Acacia and Fritos.
As for the story: Pure cringekino, I'd rather them continue selling the harem narrative rather than spend another 10 chapters introducing concepts they never end up using. Chinese community wants a waifu game, they are getting a waifu game. We are just along for the ride. The overall writing didn't actually suffer. I would argue that new chapters are actually more interesting story-wise. Like, they actually followed through with one random voice line of 4* Siris about getting home and connected this to her parents and Ganges. We got to see Lyfe question Agave, Adju was doing some more badass things. Let them cook, I've seen what they can do with their characters, they are good (Make Tanya playable please, I want to make her happy, we will make Ru- Yehrus great again)
Ah, so nothing has changed since the change. The community and it's new players are still single-minded as ever, mostly talking about fanservice and nothing else. They'll get to the point where old players are now eventually in terms of power, the repetitive and wasted potential in gameplay will creep up on them. Once they start seeing past the fanservice, they'll probably feel the same way. The story will lose a shitload of depth when it all changes to just dick-riding the adjutant. But it's not like they cared about it at all lol
