This is so fluid and shows Donnie's feelings so well. He may be nonchalant about saving his brothers but he really isn't. Boy is terrified he is gonna fail.
I showed my friend this AU and they said "not shocked. Donnie isn't built to be alone forever. He will fight God alone no matter what universe to get his brothers back. Or he will make sure to join them in some blaze of glory."

What gorgeous work! I especially loved the carrying donnie sequence into seeing tot donnie... made me tear up SO FAST and with such lovely smooth animation.
The quick progression from helthy to getting sick and donnis body deterioating is so fast that nether we waching nor donnie has a moment to cach our breaths. It really must have been scary for donnie since he did not have any time to prepare for it.

The song alone made me start sobbing, the content, however, made me sob every harder
Something about this animatic makes me want to keep coming back to it. It’s so good it captures the emotion of the scene, of Donnie’s death, it makes sense that he wouldn’t feel scared because his brothers are with him, he may be scared of death but the thought of being alone without his brothers would scare him the most. Also the fluidity of the animation is so nice to look at
I watched this before reading through the comic. of course, it urged me to actually read the dang thing. I read it in one day, and re-watched this video right afterwards. I didn't think an AU of my favorite turtles could make me cry this hard. wonderful animation and beautiful song choice!
update: I've watched this at least 20 times now because the animation is just too dang beautiful, and it still never fails to make me tear up. I mean, just look a lil donatello T^T
