I just recently heard "Chuck E's In Love" on the radio. I am Gen X and have a great deal of love and respect for all of the music that's gone through my ears and into my brain so I remember a HUGE AMOUNT of most. I didn't remember this song. I didn't recall this from MTv or VH1 and I graduated from high school in 1989. All that said. It struck me how far ahead of her time Rickie Lee Jones was. This song could easily be covered by some little pop tart and it would EASILY go platinum in a week. You know I am right. Neat song!

Like fuckin really! 😂 Then tells me his wife has a Google phone, it tells her the names of songs and artists to music in the background that she's not even listening to while she's surfing whatever tickles her fancy. It does this at any time or place. I don't trust that shit at all!

Just got back from her concert here in Ohio about an hour ago, (after a two hour drive back.) It was incredible, she's a pure artist and her back up band was really good. The drummer you could tell was a classically trained jazz drummer. It's kind of surreal watching this because i just saw her 3 hours ago. Her voice has hardly changed at all. I recommend that if you have the chance to see her, you should!
