Yeah that stuff is horrible to ride on. It feels so off and you are never sure if you are slippin or grippin.

The old track looked cooler to ride myself. This track is probably cooler to watch on TV.
This is very bike parky it seems
It looks easier to ride , but it has this big jumps also , I rode the old track , and the first time it was too much for me , in a few days I wore out my new brake pads

Jeez, I think it'd be almost better to qualify dead last before the surface gets utterly mullered - junior girls, junior guys, senior girls...by the time the top 10 senior guys get there it'll be like racing in ploughed talc.
Which is what at least one rider did the year Sam Hill had his legendary run at Champery, but he did it based on the weather patterns. He wanted to get in his run before the afternoon rains.
Can't wait to see who wins in the moon dust!!

I think it was just how it was taped In those sections? . The bus stop is gone as it was going to force rider onto grass covered rocks at high speed - asking for an accident. But the section after that I couldn't see any different from track walk footage and the cathro gopro.
For a brand new track that already looks completely shagged out.
They held a race on most parts of the track 3 weeks ago
It's not exactly brand new, they already had another race on it, and it's very loose dust for most of it so it erodes quite quickly. Even a strong rainstorm can erode the track a lot in that type of dust.

@@thingswelike exactly. Just like what R1pp3d said, too loose of a dirt to pack and maintain its integrity. Most sections would be destroyed by race day. Lol
