Oh, Klopp is gonna definitively turn him into a 6, Klopp actually has a history of taking players that play further up and pushing them back, Firmino and Ilkay Gundogan being the best examples. I think Gravenberch will have to bulk up a little for the physical rigors of premier league, he has the skillset Klopp has been looking for in the midfielder though, something young Gundogan was for him at Dortmund, and that is ball carrying midfielder, dribbler that can go past a defender and run at the defense, collapse it and thread a pass thru. I think it will take a bit of time for him to fully work himself into the position, it took Fabinho until december after signing in the summer and having a full preseason, I would expect similar time trajectory.
I agree. His profile is quite similar to that of Lavia. Maybe not as good defensively but carries the ball well. Macca wasted in that role and would love to see him higher up the pitch.

the rebuild is not complete, a defensive midfield player and either a left footed center-back or a proper right-back is desperately needed!

Defensive mid position is overrated. Liverpool will play with 8s or McAllister as a regista
Jeremie Frimpong and Piero Hincapié from Leverkusen for RB and CB or Gonçalo Inácio from Sporting for CB
I think we'll buy a 6, maybe Andre in January, Gravenberch has too much talent just to sweep up for teams......I hope so anyway.....
