Thanks a lot.
The Buck is made in the USA, in Idaho, and the 420 HC steel of Buck is very good because of the heat treatment of Paul Bos. I am using the 112 Slim select now over 3 years and It is perfect, no play, still good centered, easy to put a really sharp edge on it. Great value for the money
That’s awesome. Glad yo hear you’re using and liking it.
Thirty and change? All day everyday carry. I have the 112 slim in orange. Call me crazy but in camp it’s impossible to lose. American made. Great job Buck!

Seems like a pretty cool knife. This would be a good one for the tool box or tackle box. Great review 👍
Yes perfect for that.
Tough to deploy one handed. Tore up my thumb. Also blade centering was off. I really wanted to like it but exchanging for a RAT 2.
Nice little Buck! These would be a bit nicer with the lock of the lockback moved forward a bit. And the clip... it cracks me up! Reminds me of a guy stroking out lol.
Lolol
Care to elaborate on that last comment?
I prefer the midlock on a Spyderco. Much easier to manipulate. I also hate thumb studs so you know where I'm going. Also not a steel snob but VG10 is the superior steel. I think the Buck is made in the USA. Still, that Buck is a sweet knife and a bargain priced knife!
Completely agree
Ok
BUCK LOGO ON BLADE LOOKS BOLD IN NORMAL BUCK BLADES . IS IT OKAY (IS IT ORIGINAL BUCK BOLD LOGO )?
Delica clip fits the 112 fyi

hello
Hello, Newman.
I have the Buck Knives 112 Slim with the marbled carbon fiber scales and S30V steel blade. I did not like the lock at the very back of the handle either but that is almost a signature design cue from more traditional Buck knives so I can forgive it. It is the hokey "heritage" argument we see in the watch world! The knife is very comfortable in the pocket but it took reassembly and a good three months to break in the very tight pivot.
Agreed the lock bar at the back is a signature thing for Buck so it gets a pass.
