I absolutely love my widow Whenever I bought mine new they tuned a dozen arrows for my bow right there at their shop and help me get completely set up free of charge the guys at black widow are some great guys.
GREAT GROUP! I really like watching arrows in flight so I fletched my arrows with a Very bright chartreuse feathers. They really were bright. Throughout the season I kept seeing big white tails waving bye-bye even though I was using excellent ASAT camouflage. Then, I remembered that Whitetail Deer see well in the UV spectrum. So, I put samples of different fletched arrows in a closet, screwed in a UV bulb, and threw the switch. All colors became drab except the Bright Chartreuse which lit up like a Christmas tree!! 😱
I wanted some really great bright fletching. I used "blaze green". They were great, but I couldn't get near any deer. At the end of the season I discovered that White Tails see very well in the ultra violet spectrum and when I hit these with black light, unlike standard colors, these lit up like search lights!😟
Archers! It is not bragging if you can do it and this Archer/hunter is outstanding! I know that you are childish and jealous but get over yourself and practice more! Enjoy! 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
29 inches. I'm planning on making a video this week tuning a 340, 400, 500 and a 600 out of my satori to see how good I can get them flying. Can't wait to see what happens with the 340 and 600 I'm genuinely curious.
@@hooversoutdoors I learned a ton the first time I did a bare shaft tuning on my satori. Definitely worth the time and it feels great when you really start understanding arrow spine, how the front weight affects it and the foc
@@hooversoutdoors 3-D is on mark yardages so it teaches you how to judge yardage pretty well. I have shot 3-D for 20 years and one Mini state to Japan ships, Including Traditional Bowhunters of Florida tournament 3 times. About 550 people show up to this shoot, it last 3 days also has a fun round, coin shoot and Ironman shoot. You can shoot till you drop

Yup, blaze orange can really spook deer since they see well in the ultra violet spectrum.

Nice shooting
Nice grouping! It's one of them "if it ain't broke, don't fix it..."
But it's soooo much fun to tinker

Very nice Bow, What is the Riser material on that bow?
Is that Johnny Lawerance from karate kid ??
Do you have very much finger pinch with that bow?
Which bow do you prefer your Satori or your PAC
PAC probably. I'm a hunter first, and it's lighter and shorter. They both shoot ABOUT the same speed and accuracy for me though.
What length arrow and what is your draw length?
Are you using any weight adapters to the insert or just 175 total upfront?
I have 75 grain inserts and 175 gr points. 250 up front on these.
Specifically Easton brass hp break off inserts, that aren't broken off. Hope this helps!
@@hooversoutdoors yes sir. Thanks
So big question you have to choose the widow or satori and why?
Oops I asked question without scrolling down already answered
Don’t shoot ‘em in the legs! You’ll never get them back. Lol 😆
Haha you speaking from experience?
I’m surprised you an shoot that stiff of an arrow out of a 42lb bow - how long is your draw?

Never have, just in my back yard and bow hunt. You?
