    I think the best way to beat craps is to REALLY and i cannot empathize with the word REALLY be satisfied with the small wins. If its $20-100+. Ive been into casinos where i play craps for about two hours and im literally even money. Some days are worst than others. But, there always be that one wave where it gets HOT. But is not too often. Appreciate the small wins.. appreciate the small wins

    “I’m trying to work out some things in my head. Shooting dice gives me something to do.”
    Jake was surprised. It was as though one brick in the wall had come off. Dare he try to bring more transparency to the wall? No, that wouldn’t be fair. “I was quite confident you were going to throw another Hard 8,” he said, steering the conversation completely away from the personal.
    “I was too. We were both wrong. It’s the same in life. We count on some things, but they don’t always work out that way. In fact, most of the time, the wrong numbers show up.”

    Great Info... Here is a challenge for you.. Compare the California Craps (Cards for final Number) vs Regular Craps in the same manner as this video... I personally believe the Card Translation leads to more PSOs and more Big Reds.

    • @markthepoint
      @markthepoint  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @davidmeisland587 Challenge accepted but it's going to have to be some research..
      First I have to learn California Craps and understand the differences, and have to get a standard set of cards they use...
      But will do some research for sure...

    I don't know how valid of a comparison of "light side vs. dark side" this was. Basically both players were place betters with only the one putting a DP bet down as the difference. The right side player didn't put down a passline bet. Both players won money because there were long rolls that hit place numbers before either hitting the point or 7ing out. Not much to do with dark side playing. If the table would have really been cold both players would have lost their ass. I expect a dark side player to bet the DP and then either lay the 4 and/or 10 or do several DC bets.

      I will definitely have different variations of different strategies during this Series.. Stay tuned..
      However for a what it's worth.. I'm a light Side player and I never play the pass line.. Unless I am the shooter... I wouldn't use that alone as a light side outlier.

      @@markthepoint But it would make a difference in this side by side as the "place" bet makes more than the "pass line" bet. Example....@ the 12:50 nmark, you establish the point of 10. The pass players doesn't have to hit the ten, but the don't player is locked into that bet, all be it a good one. I think to make the true comparison, you have to match the bets as equality as possible.

    Nice play. Problem with this is that you'll see a roll like that once a week. Normally at 3 am with the Caesars limo driver betting $44 across walking with $300 and thinking he rules the world. He'll come back the next day and be down $1,000. I only play dark side and almost always win.

    U also hit the make um all wid that box cards that would have been 1000 on a 15$ bet that’s only way I seem to win at craps lol cus if I win 2/300 I keep playing and eventually loose but when I hit the all I always leave right after so I’m still confused on which strat is better 🤔

    Not a fair comparison. You only had on DP/DC up with no odds. Helping the Light Side was the Place bets. Take out the Place bets and do the math. Or, run it again with just a PL and DP. But, even this rollout showed the power of the Dark Side.

      Yes I'm a firm believer in bringing money back to the Rack.. as well as pressing.. 1 unit press is a great way to do that!

    Do you get paid 21 on top of your initial bet? I always see everyone get paid and keep the original bet on.

    • @markthepoint
      @markthepoint  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Yes. Example. If you have $15 on The 5... That bet pays you $21...
      So they will give you $21 and your bet stays!

      @@markthepoint Sweet, I assume you can ask them to “take you down” and rack 36, or move it to other numbers? Super stupid question, but the one time I hit the tables it was busy and I was overwhelmed.
      Also, THANK YOU!
