Its especially funny how i somehow know all the correct responses even when watching for the first time. What can be learned from these is
-learning the history is not the same as living it
-sleeping with someone doesn't mean you are like them
-you don't have to be the same race to have cultural similarities
-being the same race doesn't mean you are culturally similar
-and culture changes over time.
And unlike other skits, this is the one modern snl skit that seems to understand to values of comedy. Wit, ridicule, irony, hyperbole, and provocative in a critical sense.

Well, as an alumni of Brigham Young University, and someone who can easily do some lookups regarding demographics at US universities... BYU is the whitest US college is WRONG. In fact they are not even in the top 20! There are, still in the South, several colleges with fewer black students than BYU. In fact there are several ethnic based colleges (all Asian). Heck, I had black roommates at BYU 45 years ago!

I was asked to sing at a black church. Service was supposed to start at 6:00 p.m. I got there at 5:45 p.m. No one there, waited in parking lot until 6:15. No one there. Drove 20 minutes home and called the pastor to ask if I went to the wrong church, pastor said it was the right church and he and his wife were just leaving their home (2 towns away . . .). Drove 20 minutes back to the church, pastor and wife were just getting there. Service started at 7:10 p.m.

I am an original SNL alum from 1975 and I've got to say "Black Jeopardy" is one of the funniest skits they have ever come up with. It never gets old.

I'm white, and Utah is waaaaaay too white for me.
Steve Hugel try West Virginia (not Virginia though everyone thinks it’s one state) or Vermont. There is only white people there. I live in Provo now and find it quite diverse with so many Mexicans, Central Americans, South Americans, Tongans, Samoans, Micronesians, Africans, Haitians, Mongolians, some other Asians, some British people etc etc. Oh and there are tons and tons of gays and trans in Salt Lake. The only thing not diverse about Utah are that all the whites are mainly English/Scandinavian and where I’m from there are many Italian, Jews, Greeks, Slavics, and other descents of white peoples.

Black jeopardy is a fabulous skit in SNL, Keenan is great as usual and I like how Sasheer Zamata and Jay Pharaoh play it cool and 3rd contestant is always in odd with them! Fantastic, I keep coming back to watch these skits after a while!
