    I love how versatile this gown is! You could almost turn this into a challenge: How many styles can you do with one base? I love how your tutu turned out!

      Hahahah Maybe... but it is kinda “historical accurate” they used to have multiple pieces they could combine as far as I know. But I have to admit, this one is a bit extreem 😂

    I linked here through Enchanted Rose's channel. I don't recall wrestling with tulle to ever be as easy as you just made it look. I wish I'd known about the folding tricks for sewing the side seams 20 years ago. The tutu is gorgeous.

    Costuming drama directed me here too and love the colours of the tutu. Also what a great way to keep the bodice and skirt together! Thank you 🙂

    My need for this tutorial about three years ago is unheard of. But now I HAVE to revisit that project so I can make it correctly (and have it actually look nice).

    This is soo pretty! I love romantic tutus! I’m just a bit confused how you closed off the back of each layer? Did you see each centre back sewn separate? Also do you put some sort of cotton lining under the skirt or does the hard tulle brush against your legs?

    • @Leeam
      @Leeam  Před 5 lety +6

      Alicia Estelle yes i did sew every layers CB seperatly together in the same says as I did the other seams, i just left 20 cm open at the top in order to get in. The only layer between my skin and the tule are my tights. That is why i sewn the first two layers inside out. So the hard edge of the tule doesn’t scratch so much. 😉

    How many yards/meters of tulle do you think you used total? And how many layers of tulle? Your work is beautiful, I want to make a tutu like this but in pink!

  • @haltongrace

    What kind of tulle did you use? I'm in lockdown so having to order online and it's difficult to know which are soft and flowy like yours. Thanks!
