  • Giant Mountain Bike Conversion using Bafang 750W Motor BBS02B BBS02 Ebike Conversion Kit from Greenergy Global Store within Aliexpress. (The link is too long to place here).
To price up the kit, go to Aliexpress and enter "Greenergy Global Store Bafang" into the search bar. Click on the Greenergy Global Store link. The default product should be a 750W motor plus accessories. Then add your battery and select the display, ( I do not benefit, I just want to provide clarity).
What's in the box? Scroll down to the "More" area and the web page will expand. There are things to consider...if you have hydraulic brakes you need to order the sensors, not the levers that are included by default. I then used the adhesive tape to place and calibrate them, then rubber banded the lever to the on position (provide clerance so not to glue maget to the sensor), then glossed superglue over each magnet to make sure they stayed there. You order the sensors by adding a comment in the chat area after the order is completed. I found them to be very responsive and very helpful.
You can get the an optional curved LHS crank here to equalise pedal distance; www.aliexpress.com/item/10050...
You wont get the gear shift sensor by default, but I don't use one, I pull the LH brake lever in slightly to stop motor then change gears like a clutch.
BIG TIP: Install the Coupert plugin that scans for discounts, it really did work for me on the Aliexpress site. I paid $960 Australian for motor that includes parts and battery. I paid an additional AU$70 for an ebike chain from a local bikestore, I recommend this high tensile chain re-joined with link clips if you are venturing far from home.
Is this for you? At 13/7/24 my analytics show that all of the 1300 views todate are years 45 & older. I am 56, and this is a great way to get back out on your bike especially if you have injuries. I now ride 48kms round trip to work. The battery has about a 150km range (specs above), and I work it hard.

Hello, I would like to know if I can mount the bafang bbs02b 750W kit on the giant bike Giant - Trance X2 2010 thank you

Hi, The width of your bottom bracket (Hub the the pedals connect through) needs to be between 68-73 mm. Mine was 73mm and it fit. The 73mm will only take the one lock nut, it will not have enough thread protruding to take the additional aluminum collar, (this is normal & ok). See ae01.alicdn.com/kf/Sfcd2d256dde84b39bece09f5c620944bN.jpg
I am concerned about the battery though, it may not fit inside where the drink bottle mounts, you will need to research that, I will try and come back with the dimensions of the battery. Mine did fit, but it did not line up so I had to drill into the frame to mount it.
Advice based on your bike as shown here; ecmtb.net/t/2010-giant-trance-x2-sold/6471 Thx Tim
