@@therealmccoy2004No, don’t try to do that lol. You know damn well a lot of tuba sections took inspiration from VSU and Tenn state. Y’all tubas didn’t get good until 2015. Those sections were the standard before that lol. Hell TXSU had better tubas than y’all.
@Flavaflav555 actually 2015 was wen media started getting more introduced. JSU was always solid on tuba.. I remember us in the tunnel in 06 at honda..Virginia only had sectional tubas but could they arrange and playwith a whole band?? No JSU was the one that put bands over the top

@@KBThaBandhead you must’ve forgot how small dawg team is compared to the stallions of course they not gonna sound as loud they can only get so loud with 16-19 tubas the stallions was a way bigger section this year with 28-33 tubas this year so why be so hard on dawg team ??
@@terrorblossom4829 The whole point is that it shouldn't matter how many you got, its to make what you have sound good, and dawg team was just off this season, they didn't sound like the dawg team I know. Also nobody really cares how loud you are when it comes to making music, just the balance and blending of the group. Anybody can have 30+ tubas and make it sound like shit, or you can have 10 that sound amazing.
@@terrorblossom4829 Compared to other years, DawgTeam fell off IMO. Golden Stallions put in that work and it shows.

I actually do believe DT fell off slighty last year. People saying numbers isn't an issue, but I beg to differ. When you have numbers you can add more parts and color to the fanfares. Apparently they will march twice as many as last year so im confident they'll get the crown back this year
That’s what I’m saying people been so hard on dawg team but they gotta realize look how much they numbers dropped from 2021 to 2022 they had like 29 tubas in 2021 and dropped to 16 in 2022 and when you gotta bigger section you gonna have a deeper fuller sound

stallions been lacking.. I got links if you want 😂 plus this sound not even thick or clean compared to the dt tape. real tuba players know. neither were perfect this season but dt 17-19 vs their 30 the sound shouldn’t have been as close, I call it how I see it. respect for the video though 🤝🏾
