She annoyed me so much with whining about francesca Being rude. Fran was the most polite boss ever especially in comparison with Kate from last few seasons.
I think Francesca would have be a good pairing with Captain Sandy. I hope that next season of Med this will happen. I think it would make the show better with at least some harmony on the boat.
Elizabeth had made several mistakes previously & this was her last strike, that's why she was fired. And James was told off as well by his superior Eddie & captain Lee, but since this was James's first mistake he wasn't fired.
Having worked in the industry, the reason only Francesca got fired is because the girl was her boss under the "interior" umbrella. I'm not sure what the lad is maybe a deck hand so she can't say anything to him that would be first officer. As men they don't really take it to heart that much now you may call it sexist and maybe on some level it is (the super Yachts industry is very sexist) but the head steward chose not to be chill she could of just said we'll "you strip it and clean it"

Honestly I'm watching this season rn and I just had to come comment. Francesca must have been jealous of Elizabeth or something because boy did she pick on her. Yeah Elizabeth had her ditsy moments but one scene that hammered the nail in the box for me that Francesca liked to bully her was where Elizabeth was up early and doing dishes and Francesca was upstairs waiting for her and said "oh she's late to work again" then goes downstairs to find her actually awake and working then she says passive aggressively "can we have a morning meeting before you start work?" Then Elizabeth apologizes and says oh sorry I didn't hear you on the radio and Francesca says (passive aggressively) again "no I never called you on the radio". Like what more does she want? Elizabeth was up early and doing her job and Francesca still finds a way to be a mean girl to her! What a downright b#$ch!

If it's really that bad then don't go to party night stay behind and go over the things that are important for the season. Ppl all over the world work more hours and days in a row than that!!!! I think Francesca is a better Chief Stew than Kate and more professional but not as good as Hannah. Nobody’s perfect but Francesca has a good relationship with Captain Lee, she’s good with the guests, knows how to delegate as well as doing the work herself, she smiles ( which Kate never did), and she’s tried to be patient with Elizabeth but Elizabeth just didn’t work hard enough. Francesca obviously favours Ash and that shows but in comparison to Kate, she’s 10 out of 10. She also has a calm personality mostly and not frantic or stressed under pressure.

I have seen some bad managers on ships but Francesca is certainly a memorable one.
