Worked in the oilfield from the time I was 18 until I was 28 and was disabled from a offshore helicopter crash going to work. Was the best job and group of guys I ever had the pleasure to work with.

I worked as with Offshore Navigation Australia in 1990 to 1992 as a Base Station Operator. It was amazing,setting up and installing a 100 ft tower and and operating the equipment ,sending positional data to the Siesmic vessels. On Legendre Island off the coast of Dampier WA I would see the Ships full of Gas headinig to Japan.Best job in my life.

I can still remember way back in the 80’s & 90’s we use to be able to go fishing way down on the plus 10 deck.......... We would catch so much fish, we would take home so many bags of fish........... We did not have all of that safety BS........ So many good memories and good friends....... Wasn’t no black & white, we use to all look after each other.
