- To GOD Be All The Glory!
From the moment I saw this car right away sent a message to Sir Jerome Villostas if we can feature him and his car right away he said yes checked on the schedule and set an appointment. The weather was nice although it was gloomy but still we manage to shoot outdoor. To my surprise he also the current Vice President of Retro Rides South and the owner of Villostas Auto Shop
I never expected that his Father Mr. Ruben Villostas will be joining the interview which I was happy because hearing to stories from the generation to the 2nd generation both have some story to share.
Please be inspired as we feature 2 generation and hopefully up to 3rd generation with one sports that was able to service a father and son's.
Big Thank you to:

Wala nang gaanong ganyan kaganda na Celeste. Beautiful !
@@maurogomez1585 thank you Sir, yes Sir 💯♥️🙏
You just have to love people who treat their cars as family because it's more than just a pile of rubber and metal meshed together... it's a family's treasure trove of memories.... Vehicles like these will always remind you of the good ole days... might even bring you all the way back in time...not everybody's lucky to get their old cars back after being sold...
I totally agree with you Sir, thank you for pointing that one out and hearing from the owners the story we can imagine and relate to it.
Ganda talaga Basta CELESTE
LEGENDARY old SKOL respect 👍
Hello Sir thank you for your comment , true Sir it's a legend, it's design it's performance and it's history and especially if it comes from an owner's view.
It was a very cool car.
And also have a sentimental value'
to the owner of this car
@@benedictfrancisco4653 true Sir we never really expected the story Sir we thought it was just marinated and kept it , Pero the y sold it the bought it back again because they saw what happened to the car then bought it and rebuild it in honor and as a gift to their father wow that something thank you for your comment Sir 🙏
1971 dob ko...when i was a teenager gustong gusto ko yang celeste.. 2 door sports car... astig.. good job sir..galing na maintain ninyo yung car..😆

Thank you for your comment, Sir. You can check Sir Jerome's FB page @retroridesouth. Feel free to check our other videos as well, Sir. Happy watching. :)
Japanese cars from the seventies and early eighties were often exquisite jewels. I was lucky to work at a Datsun dealership. Everything was an absolute doddle to work on.
Apart from the body rust, seized 10mm spanner-size bolts snapping and head gaskets, they were the perfect cars.
Their electronics industry made products which were a decade ahead of the rest. I remember fitting a new Matsushita radio/cassette to a Datsun 280C it was so, so exquisite in every way. No wonder the Japanese are now buying every available NOS tech item from their golden age.
Suzuki, when developing their GSX-R model range of bikes, simply tested until a part broke, remade the part stronger and so on...
Honda's CX500 was run at full throttle for a full ten-hour at the end of development. Sure, they made a few errors, but the whole USA poured billions of USD into Japan as they fell in love with their products.
Wonderful engineering, design and marketing, they simply wanted to make perfect things. And they came close to doing so.
@@TobiasCat-dl2juY thank you for sharing those information Sir we appreciate that you can relate to the story. Please feel free to share more information like this to help us and others be educated on cars that we rarely see. ♥️🙏

I agree Sir good point, imagine there will be a 2025 Mitsubishi Celeste. I wonder how it looks like. :-)
@@JomSTVMedia-wc3xg yes. It will definitely turn heads.
Saka maganda pa tayo niya. Makinis siya, talagang alaga at restored. My cousin had one in red. Ako kotse ko 1977 Ford Escort RS 1600. Lagi kami naghahatawan ng pinsan ko, matulin siya 1600 din yun Celeste
@@gracianomendoza8671 true Sir especially in person maganda siya plus knowing the story behind it makes it even more valuable, matulin because na din of the shape slik and sexy 😄
Until now Sir you have the 1977 Escort and RS 1600?
Keep it up sir

Nice Car :)
Hello Sir, how are you? Thank you for appreciating Sir especially in person solid :-)
Mas matibay old school cars kesa mga bago ngayon. Walang computer yan, karburador yan kaya kahit saan kaya ayusin.
@@gracianomendoza8671 thank you for the comment Sir especially if it's taken care and we'll maintained and preserve to some 😊🙏
Suggestions , when reviewing a car just focus more on the car & not the face of the owner or the reviewer. We love to see the car.
@@allancarvajal1518 thank you for your suggestion Sir that is why at the end of the videos there are photos and videos of the car 🙂👍
Most of our videos we make sure that we create a montage at the end of it.
I hope you enjoy the story of the video Sir 😊 feel free to forward to see the car only 🙏👍😊
Happy Watching 🙂
I beg to disagree. Yung istorya na nanggagaling mismo sa bibig nung mga owners yung nagpapaganda sa content na ganito. Deserve yung pagkakafocus sa owners. Pinakita naman yung oto, it was given the ample time.
@@iamrmsd thank you Sir for noticing and appreciatimg our video and that's the channel is all about to highlight the story of the owner and their car. Since these are old cars there will be a lot of story and memories and hearing it from the owner and using our channel a medium to reach out to the viewers is really an honor and great privilege. Just had an idea of creating a separate video just for the cars😊
tapatan yan ng toyota corolla SR two door sa mga Asian Rally nuong 70s Abra Rally mga japanese driver entry team up with pilipino. With ARCP Auto Rally Club of the Phil. headed by president Johnny. Angeles ang head marshall. Boy Fuentes.

@@joeymanuel20 oh nice timing chain back in the day, thank you for the info Sir 😊🙏👍
Na-Full restored sana pang Car show level..pag nakabudget sila sir.
Cge Sir abangan po namin yan😊 and hopefully mafeature namin 🙏👍
Ganda... May mabibili pa rin bang ganyang condition ngayon? Celeste, Macho Machine, L-Type 76 Lancer or MK1 na Escort? The only thing ang papalitan ko dito ay yung rims. Masyadong manipis ang gulong. Ok na ang 14s or 15s basta 8-inch wide at 50-series tires. Mukhang naka adjustable coil-overs na rin di ba?
@mtolentino9570 thank you sa comment Sir , ang alam ko Sir meron pa check out FB market place may mga nakita pa ako and also check page of RETRO RIDE SOUTH which the VP of the group si Sir who owns the Celeste very approachable diy sir you may also check FB page and OLD SCHOOLER AUTO CLUB PHILIPPINES.
Saka baka medyo mabigat steering kasi di pa power steering mostly. Yun di ko na tanong I think baka Sir lowering springs.
That's nice!
Thank you, Sir and the owners are nice as well, and what even makes nicer is the story 🙂
