Honestly she is mid compared to other dps out there. She is definitely designed beautifully but until most of her Natlan teammates are released I recommend skipping her. She is an on field dps that will work really well with the pyro archon. If you want an awesome hydro character and invest constellations in then it’s the one and only Hydro Archon Furina who buffs your whole team.
I love Mualani’s character and her personality but skip for now . Also her shark board doesn’t last very long outside of Natlan. Even my c0 Yelan is faster outside of the region.

Kekvin your playing her a bit off, you are right. To get the full power you have to ride into the enemy over and over without attacking and once you’ve done it three times attack for a big hit.

I like your videos and this is genuine advice, please if you don't understand a character's kit from the trial/reading talents, just watch a video on how to play them... I understand being confused but it's annoying when content creators put out videos playing the character wrong and then say they're not that good, which will give others a bad impression of the character.
Okay...I think you need to hear some explanation about her play style...
When you surf through the enemies (they will be marked) you get those fishes next to her bar, you have to collect 3 of them and then you use your normal atack to deal MASSIVE damage and you repeat that until you're burst is up. Don't use her normal attack in any other circumstances👍
And to be clear - When she is build right she can deal way bigger damage than Eula (even with the toothless f2p team comps)
Run over an enemy 3 times and press the attack to do more damage (running over an enemy 3 times will fill up the 3 dots next to the bar)

Wow that's... The "secondary" bar is the bar of Phlogiston which only appears in Natlan. It's not exclusive to Mualani, but it is exclusive to the characters of Natlan. Once their own bars are used up, they use Phlogiston to continue using their E. Mualani isn't a Burst DPS, if anything she's probably a skill DPS. To properly use her skill, you need to surf through the enemy with your shark - which will fill up the slots next to her main bar. Once they're filled up, you can hit the enemy for an increased set value of DMG.
I love you, but this is bad. You tried. Firstly, she needs to hit the enemies 3 times to have her kit function correctly. Secondly, her best weapon is the craft able one that was given to us through an online event pre 5.0 release. Lastly, you chose good teams so good on that. Plz watch guide or read the kit at least after you try her out on your own so you don’t call her a sub dps.

in order to get maximum damage out of her skill you need to hit the enemy’s, her shark bar stacks up to three so if you’re only hitting them once you’ll do significantly less. Hit enemy’s 3 times to get her skill damage attack boost.

the showcase was fun to watch. keep up the good work.. the more fish stacks you got the more damage you will do. to get fish stacks youll have to slide by the enemies.. since you did around 20k without anything you will easily do 60k with stacks.. and its always better to vaporise her hits..

Hey, if you want maximum damage run into the enemies three times until you get all three white fish and then normal attack :)
When riding the shark wait till the 3 things proc beside her meter before attacking with the shark to get max damage
hey! Mualani's dmg comes most from her vapes! After placing your support buffs, switch to her and use skill; try to go through enemies while surfing (yes, run over them!) till you get the three stacks, and THEN hit normal attack!. She can do this three times till her skill runs out. Try activating Xianglings Ult last before you switch in to Mualani so you can get all the burst time on her vaping :)
See that over 100k dmg you did with her skill once? that's her normal dmg per normal attack when using skill and proper rotations
you know you can stack the 3 things on her skill by walking through enemies. it makes her shark bite do way more damage. and she is better in vaporize teams

Guys her kit is difficult! Anyway, from what I understand you run into 3 enemies (or 1 enemy 3 times) for an enhanced basic attack that does a lot more damage! Hope this helps
