DIY Glam Crushed Glass Candle Holders | $2 DIY Dollar Tree Candle Glam Decor | Goodwill DIY
In this DIY I will show you how I created 2 Beautiful and Elegant Candle Holders using items from Dollar Tree. It cost me $2 to build the first set and $7 to build the second set. Of course it will cost you more to decorate them but the cost depends on what you already have vs what you would like to decorate them with. I make it. The most important thing is to use a sieve to get the little dusty particles out. I crush a little at a time, sieve it, and then crush a little more, etc., etc.
What kind of glass you use to crush
@@sweetpea8107 @sweetpea Whatever I break! I have used all kinds and I usually get three grades: Chunky, medium and fine. I double sift every few minutes and throw any "powdery" glass out. So I smash and sift often and separate each time into the different sizes. It takes a little practice, but start with some less expensive glass. It can be colored or clear or crystal - even broken glass ornaments. That comes out REAL pretty, especially old vintage ones

Ok. So I tried this...and I can't for the life of me get the crushed glass to stick to the mod podge. Some stays, but a lot falls off. What am I doing wrong...or is this normal?
