  • I know many have already seen this episode...but some haven't yet, and I figured I'd share my own personal story of how the Travers Family made an imprint on my life. My first planned trip to Jack Travers' ski school was when I was 14 years old. I had less than a year of jumping under my belt, and I was all set for a week at Travers, learning how to actually use my new jump sling and maybe go farther than 94 feet. Unfortunately, the weekend before my trip, I went out the front in the first tournament of the season and spiral-fractured my femur. I don't really know what woulda happened if I would have had the chance to go learn the fundamentals of jumping from Jack....maybe I coulda turned out to be a decent jumper. Maybe not. Either way, I sold my sling and I never really jumped again.... Still, over the years the Travers family has grown to be a positive influence in my life, and I guess HO Skis and I figured it was time to share their story with the world, through the lens of FlowPoint TV.
There are few names in Water Skiing that carry as much meaning as the Travers name. This is a story about the history of a true water ski family.
