Club and county players in Sligo try the Garavogue cross-river challenge ahead of Sligo GAA County Finals on October 2nd 2016 at Markievicz Park..
With last year's champions St. Marys facing Tourlestrane in the Belfry Sligo Senior Football Final and Geevagh v St Molaise Gaels in the Kennedy's Intermediate Final on the same day, we set a challenge for 4 of the finalists to hit points from 50m across the width of the Garavogue River in Sligo Town. The results, let's say, were mixed!
