Also, if you have multiple choices around you call and ask what the transfer fee is, some stores charge more for not ordering through them to begin with. around me some stores are $20 while others are $50-75, don't let stores price gouge you.

Surprisingly when I lived in Minnesota my local FFL dealer only charged $10 for a gun transfer. He was a smaller dealer and really wasn't in it to make a lot of money. Now I live in South Dakota and my local FFL dealer charges $40.

If that FFL didn't accept it, I would NEVER use them again. Simple.

Understandable. However we don't always know they won't accept it until it's too late.
