Possibly one of the greatest 2 step records ever constructed
Well ahead of its in time 1998
Meaning , this record represented s sudden shift in tempo in the garage sound ,
Your always going to have the pitch near the 0 position or minus a semi tone .
    Groove chronicles ( Noodles & Lewis )
This had amazing production , the vocal was nicely done
The drums , jazz sax solo riff , but what really takes this record where no other record at the time was doing , yes all dance , house music not just garage
It had a twist !!! Something that's unexpected in the middle ( Bridge with a edge maybe ) An introduction of a D&B Reece Bass under a Subline bass that basically takes the record somewhere else
Genius by EL B & Noodles
I first heard this record dropped at World Dance in 98 in the Garage Room by DJ Hermit ( 2 as 1)

ONE OF THE BEST bass line drops ever!!! For anyone new to this song (such a shame, but you found it eventually), DO NOT listen to this on your smart phone or laptop. It needs a separate's Hi-Fi stack and the biggest speakers you can get your hands on to do it real justice. Failing that, if you have a TV with a sound bar and a good subwoofer that would suffice. I remember hearing this at Crisp Biscuit, Stratford Rex in September 1998, my 19th birthday, enjoying a party prescription for the first time. When the bass dropped all I can remember is sitting in front of these massive PA speakers and feeling like my chest and torso was gonna cave in. It got three rewind demands from the crowd, the most I've seen requested. I sat in front of those speakers for 10 glorious minutes. What an anthem.
    Edit: 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏻✌🏼🖖🏼👍🏼

haha and oooooh that's very personal! I love my garage...different tunes for different times but in this comment I guess I mean ones that cut deep and will always make me stop no matter what I'm doing you know? Likely linked to certain memories, very hard but I would say other 4 are:
      Hobson's choice (the darker mix)
You know how to love me - DEA
      Baffled - Going On
      KP - I Need A Rhythm
...it's damn hard and there a lot of tunes I will never know the names of but spent plenty of time trying to sing/beatbox to DJ's!
Just missed out, Spirit of the sun - Lenny Fontana - the original mash up your car with the bass bins, aw!
Nu Birth - Anytime, also needs to be there!
      Smokin Beats - Dreams
      Reach And Spin...
These all make 9, oh dear
