I remember hearing this at Crisp Biscuit, Stratford Rex in September 1998, my 19th birthday, enjoying a party prescription for the first time. When the bass dropped all I can remember is sitting in front of these massive PA speakers and feeling like my chest and torso was gonna cave in. Exe Men, Zed Bias, M Dubs, TJ Cases, MJ Cole, Dem2, US Alliance, Groove Chronicles, Steve Gurley, DEA Project, Chris Mack and tons of others from 1998.
It's a tough one to call but they are up in the top ten: In no particular order: Tuff Jam, Anthill Mob, Grant Nelson, Steve Gurley, New Horzions, MJ Cole, Zed Bias, Chris Mack, Dem 2 and Groove Chronicles.
