Don't know if any of your viewers are aware, but you can get free admission to this as well as the Merlin attractions on International Drive (The ICON wheel, Madamme Tussaud's and SeaLife Aquarium) if you have a yearly pass to any of the other Legoland parks...we have one very close to us here in San Diego and we paid for the yearly pass, which is about $45 more than a daily pass, because we knew we would be vacationing in Florida this year and we were able to use it for Legoland Florida as well as the attractions on International Drive (as well as the Madamme Tussauds in Las Vegas, by the way!)...Those who visit the park in Windsor, or perhaps the London Merlin Attractions who are also due to visit Florida will likely ALSO be able to take advantage of similar offers (at least according to the Guest services person I asked at Legoland California when I bought our passes)
Amazing, great knowledge! I’ll pin the comment.
The Frugal Brit - Orlando I have sent on the dragon and been to the park once
Free parking too!
sadly no longer the icon wheel but the madame tussauds and sealife are still merlin
Interesting because I will be vacationing fl soon and I have a legoland near me in ny
As someone who doesn’t really like fast roller coasters and stuff and enjoys lego Ninjago, this park is cool because I can just ride all the rides without worrying about if they are too fast to enjoy.
Thank you for this thorough review. The official website leaves a lot to be desired, so I appreciate the details you have added here.
No problem, glad you found it useful. Thanks for watching 👍😁
I went as a 19 year old as the child of the group and absolutely loved it. Just know what your getting into and have a love for legos
I remember when it was Cypress Gardens and I am glad they have still kept part of the gardens xx thanks for sharing - we enjoyed watching xx
Yeah I think they would have gotten a lot of hate if they’d dared to mess too much with the gardens! Thanks for watching 😊
Taking my 7 year old this summer, she's looking forward to it like crazy. It's nice to know the lay of the land and what to expect ahead of time. This video is much appreciated ❤️
Very welcome, thanks for watching 👍😁
I took my 9 year old son last year to Legoland and it was both fun and relaxing to have ridden on most of everything and in addition went to the water park there as well and well worth the trip and we didn’t do all that was there to offer so a second trip will be in preparation on next visit.
I’m just here bc I won a free legoland ticket in my box of legos lol ;w;
That’s a good a reason as any! Thanks for watching 👍😁
@@TheFrugalBrit ur welcome! U need more views!
Hey how was it with the Covid issue.
@@kimberlyjones5337 haha i never went i realized i didnt want to XD

Great video! I love Legoland and think it's one of the best theme parks I've been to. Keep making great videos like this!
Thank you, appreciate that. Cool channel btw.
@@TheFrugalBrit thanks for the compliment!
Exactly what I needed! Thanks!
Very welcome, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, heading there now😎 It’s sunny and about 50 degrees outside. Hoping my son loves it☀️
You are very welcome. In return you have to spoil your kid with a cool lego toy!
Hope you have an awesome time.
Great video. Heading to Florida with my two year old later in the year and was wondering if legoland was worth a trip. Your video gave me all the information needed. 😀
I’m pleased you found it useful. Thanks for watching!
Thank u for this.. its really helpful!
You’re welcome, thanks for watching 👍😁
The Dragon coaster used to be Okeechobee Rampage, flying school used to be Swamp Thing from Cypress Gardens. fun fact the grand carouse is left over from Cypress Gardens as well.
Also GS doesn't measure kids, each ride will still measure them before allowing them to ride, and there is Kids Power Towers you forgot to say.
Thanks so much for this video! We've been planning an Orlando trip for a long time, and just discovered your channel. There is so much info on the 4 (non-water) Disney World parks, and not much useful info on the many other Orlando attractions. Your videos on Legoland, Aquatica, and I-Drive were the most helpful I've found for those locations. Would you please consider a Kennedy Space Center video as well? Preferably before our trip in September ;). Discovery Cove is another attraction that is hard to get good information about - but I wouldn't call it frugal, so I don't know if it fits with your channel. Still, we'd certainly watch it if you made one!
Thank you for your kind feedback! Much appreciated ☺️
I REALLY want to do a Kennedy Space Centre video, I think that’d be really fun to make. Fairly certain I’ll get that done before September 😉
Thanks again!
Awesome tour! Thanks for sharing 👍
You’re welcome, thank you for watching and for the kind comment 👍
@@TheFrugalBrit 👍😉✌️
Thank you for this video, I thought the place could be fun for my 14 and 10 years old boys but you save my life and my money 😄
I appreciate that! Saving people time and money is the main purpose of the channel. Thank you for watching 😁
Im going to lego land on Friday night i cant wait! I have never been there and it seems like it will be amazing! ty for the tips!!
You’re very welcome, hope you have an awesome trip! 👍😁
How was it? We are going on June 10th
Watching yoir video in 2023, we bought the 2 day ticket and went yesterday and going back today; although it is a bit rainy today
My kids an I had a great time here. And now Legoland NY will be opening this July 2020 😍
Yeah I wanna go back now lol
I had an annual pass last year. I have no kids, I’m not really that big of a LEGO fan, but I live 5 minutes away, and it’s something to do. Coming from NYC, life in Winter Haven can get boring sometimes. Being able to drop in here and chill in Cypress Gardens was more than worth the annual fee, which wasn’t much more than a single day pass.
Absolutely, annual passes are great. Thanks for watching 👍😁
Yes!
The traffic is terrible here in Florida especially if you are coming from Orlando to Winter Haven and vice versa. I would suggest leaving before or after the 8:30/10 rush hour. Also, I would suggest eating dinner at a restaurant near by after to skip the 5pm rush hour. Or I guess since it's the Covid times, maybe just leave and head back around 4pm.
Good knowledge, thank you for sharing 👍😁
Thank you for this. Going tomorrow and I was wondering about the traffic.
ive been planing a trip to legoland
It’s very similar to my home Park LEGOLAND Windsor the dark rides look exactly the same and the others look relatively similar we have the Lego movie world coming next year though
Yeah I think those that have Legoland Windsor nearby probably won’t find it to be worthwhile, given the large number of other attractions in Central Florida. Thanks for watching!
I like how they kept alot of cypress gardens.
Most definitely, would be a real shame if they changed that. Thank you for watching 👍😁
I work here and this was a great review of the park
That’s reassuring 👍
Thank you for watching 😁
I think it's pretty good for adults too, the rides are pretty tame so I wouldn't have a problem to go on all of them.
Indeed, great park. Thanks for watching 👍😁
I had a terrible time at legoland cause I had went for a field trip. The adults and teachers chose every ride we went on, which the only allowed the littler kid rides even though my group was aged 8 to 11. This was awhile ago but I remember them asking us if we wanted to do the roller coaster. My group all said yes but the littler kids (the ones that could go on it) cried so the chose one of the littler kid rides instead. My group protested about the whole field trip but we were yelled at. That was about 4 years ago and I'm still mad about it since I haven't been able to go since. Just stuck at home watching POVS.
Sorry to hear that, hope you get chance to head back soon!
I never been to LEGO land and I really want to go a shounds like a really fun place as me being a fan of the ninjago TV show and LEGO friends I really want to ride the ninjago ride because I herd it is a really fun ride and the rides at LEGO land look fun I feel like it is a fun place to go to in my opinion I looks really fun
I’m going tomorrow looks like it’ll be fun
Hope you had a great trip!
"As an adult, it might be difficult to conceptualize a theme park centered around your favorite toy."
*watching vids of adults crying at Super Nintendo World"
😂
I have been there two times when I was a kid I am a teen now
Most definitely one for people with kids but i’m sure they’ll love it.
Yeah it’s not one I’d go to without the kids I don’t think.
The funniest scene ever was when some brits went to a burger king on hwy 192. Iwatched them go into a frenzy and talk about how cheap bk was. They bought literally the whole menu and ate all of it and even went back for more! The family literally lost their mind over fastfood.
It's what we do when we've had a few beers.
Don't forget free admission if you're a teacher. Also, Occasionally Snyder pretzel bags have a coupon for a free kids ticket with a paid adult admission.
Good knowledge, thanks for sharing!
Hi.. We are planning to visit here in my son’s 7th bday but kinda worried cause I have 7, 4 and 1 1/2yr old baby by that time and I don’t want my kids to ride alone especially with those roller coaster. My questions are; does every ride allow parents to accompany kids? (Just the scary and going up rides I am worried)
And 1 1/2yr old baby won’t be allowed in any of these right?
I just have to be ready and plan everything if we need to take turns for our baby or something. Thank you in advance
Yes you’ll be able to accompany the kids on all rides from my recollection. Legoland Florida does have quite a few rides that 1/2 year olds won’t be allowed on. Hope you have a great time there when all this is over!
Im going there on saturday how far away is it from sarasota
They are combating the weathering of legos. They have been rebuilding the legos that have been weathered and have put up a huge canopy over the miniature area.
Good knowledge thank you 👍
Would one day there be enough? We’ve got three kids, and I’m not sure if we should do the one or two day pass. We’re planning on staying at one of the LEGO hotels, I was thinking maybe a fun relaxed day at the hotel and a day at the park. Would appreciate any input ☺️
I think it may depend on how busy it is; if you go on a weekday during term time I think you can comfortably get it done in one day. If you want a more relaxing experience then two days might be the better choice. Thanks for watching, hope you all have an amazing time!
Thanks so much for your reply!! I appreciate the advice!
For us Brits I would not bother. Go to Legoland Windsor for pretty much the same attractions. The best thing about it is for theme park historians who are interested in the cypress park legacy
Yeah I think that’s fair. Like you say, many of the attractions are the same if not very similar to Legoland Windsor.
Loving the vids btw!
Much appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to comment, really helps to increase the ranking of my videos.
7:37 It would be cool if you added some trivia for the areas like how Lego Movie World was Lego Chima themed
Yeah that would’ve been nice. Thanks for watching!
@@TheFrugalBrit Thanks for the Pin and the Like! Another thing I was thinking of is the entrance music for Legoland FL, always wanted to see what loop of music they use?
I live 2 states above Florida so we are not flying to it because 1, flights are expensive and 2, it’s only a 7 hour drive
Fair enough!
We are planing to go there in December so I wanted to see the rides here I can’t wait
We did the one in the UK in October. Kids absolutely loved it!
So the one day admission to Lego land with out the water park, includes free rides too or no ?
That’s right 😁
I love it also if you have a military or va id you get in free and your family get 10% discount
Good knowledge, thank you for sharing! 👍😁
I just wish that the park was more accommodating towards tall people. Yeah a lot of the rides are for kids but their parents are going to go on the rides too
Could you do this park in one day or do you recommended 2 days
Assuming you get there at rope drop, I think you can squeeze it in one day imo. thanks for watching!
The Frugal Brit - Orlando one last question do you recommenced gettingnthe premium pass or staying at the hotel or etc what you do you recommend coming here
I've been going through Legoland videos for the past like 10 minutes bc I wanted to feel some nostalgia lol. My mom worked at this park for most my life and we actually got to test some things.
I remember testing the hotel when it was built. I don't remember a lot of details, but the food was great. The elevator stopped working and a family got stuck inside so I forced my parents to use the stairs after that. We also tested the lego movie area just a bit before she quit. Even though it was just workers and their families, we stood in the line for the 3D ride for abt 30 minutes haha. I also remember going to a lego movie event thing in the theater, dont remember what it was for but the theater was divided into two sides, celebrities such as Nickelodeon actors, and workers + their families. I still have such a love for this park, and it was really cool to get to see the behind the scenes of some areas as I grew up :)
Nostalgia and theme parks is a special combo no doubt 👍
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Is this a good park for one-day admission or do you recommend more than one day?
I’d recommend for one day, unless it’s a super busy day.
I was at LEGOLAND and I went to a BURGER restraunt and they were OUT OF KETCHUP and the soda macines WERE NOT working and it took soooo long to get our food. The staff were not doing anything about the soda macine. The apple juice was absolutely disgusting.
I’m going tmr and we are only 20 min away I’m flexing
💪
Do u recommend the water park?
It’s decent, but understandably not as good as the big water parks in central Florida.
in 32 more days I go to LEGO land Florida for 3 days Disney land for 2 days and s t Studios for 2 days.
All the best! Hope you have an awesome time 😁
Im going to lego land on Friday night i live in Florida also but north laderal
For the record, it's actually UNI-KITTY's Disco Drop, NOT UN-KITTY! ...she's a half-unicorn, half Kitty character from the movies (sorry, my Daughter LOVES this character!)
Godammit, there’s always something I have to screw up 😂. Thank you for the knowledge!
Oh yeah! The vr ride in legoland (forgot name) is not too worth it with the average 1 hour wait. If you want to ride it, make sure to be there the second it opens.
Yeah my kids loved it but I was not as impressed.
@@TheFrugalBrit yeah... I waited for 3 hours and it was underwhelming to say the least
I remember there being a China land and it was my favorite part of the park me and my brother got a sword and shield
@Olivia 757 oh yea srry that was a typo
that’s the Lego movie world now
Heartlake City sounds like a Pokémon city
That’s made me think about how cool a Pokemon park would be. Hopefully Universal have plans for that with the Nintendo stuff.
How is this place since covid?
No major issues!
Why arent the coasters made of legos?
Opportunity missed no doubt!
I would rate legoland Florida 50000 stars⭐ but sadly we don't have enough money to go there😕
It’s super cheap right now
We have videos at Legoland Florida and Legoland Beach Hotel as well!
Cool, what do you think of the park following the changes?
I'm 17 but still a kid at heart
There's no such thing as an adult, they are just big kids that pay bills.
Hi @MusicbyOlegMazur, you have made a claim for the music, however, ever since the video was posted I have complied with audio library creative cloud terms. Are you able to assist with this? Kind regards.
I don’t really think it’s worth going to unless you have free time. You can get legoland across the globe whilst things like Disney are very unique to Florida even when compared to Disneyland parks.
Yeah this is a reasonable take on whether it’s worth a trip. I think it mainly depends on the age of your kids, their interest in Lego, the amount of time you have on your vacation and whether or not you have been to a different legoland park.
Thanks for watching and for sharing your perspective!
@Olivia 757
Yes but in that case it's really up to people to know where they are going, I mean you wouldn't go to the rainforest and say that it's a disappointment because you couldn't find a shopping mall.
@Olivia 757
Are they still around? I love the actual rainforest 😉
I went back in 2019 and hated it If you have younger kids are great for them
Yeah kids between 2 and 10 really love it. Thanks for watching 👍😁
Is It Worth A Trip For A 1 Year Old ?
There’s lots they won’t be able to do, so not great value in that sense. But I bet he/she will still have a great time 😁
@@TheFrugalBrit So Rides Wise How Many Are Can A 1 Year Old Ride
i could not go to lego land because of corona virus
People make LEGO city’s
An im 14 an never went
Same but I’m 13
23 dollar for parking your car???
afraid so
I can't hear a word you're saying.
Music far too high in some videos, apologies.
I mean if ole girl is gonna be at the duplo area with her fun bags half hanging out all then I know where I'll be all day
I love LEGO land and don’t like Disney land
"Heartlake City, which is sort of the girlier section of Legoland Florida"
Could have used a better choice of words than "girly" to describe it. To any little girls watching in anticipation of going there that term comes across as demeaning to what they might be into. As I don't think anyone calls something "girly" to paint it in a positive light. Just wanted to point that out.
