This version of Anakin and Dooku seem like they would actually get along.
Bit of a rookie-husband mistake by Anakin. He should have discussed resigning from the Order and outing their secret marriage with Padme first. His decisions would have affected his wife also. It would have been nice if the Order's more dogmatic members like Windu, softened towards Anakin. If an untrained former padawan could defeat a Sith Master, the Jedi clearly need to rethink their methods.
Leaving the order well thats his doing but exposing the marriage yes thats the rookie mistake

That was fantastic! I loved this serving of Bantha stew. Each direction the story took just flowed so naturally into the next, with noting seeming predictable and everything making sense. This is a story worth revisiting. Thank you for writing and reading it.

What if Padme was enslaved during the Clone Wars?
What if Luke and Leia weren't separated at birth, (IE both were sent to Alderanna or both were sent to Tatooin)?
What if Padme was arranged to marry for the Republic during the Clone Wars?
What if during the rescue of Han from Jabba everything goes the same except for Leia killing Jabba resulting in her being left behind and remaining a Slave? (even though the ending is probably very simple Luke will find out that Leia is his sister and then after the Battle of Endor he mounts a rescue mission to save her)
What if Jyn Erso survived Rogue one and went on to Meet and Fall in love with Luke Skywalker?
What if Ahsoka found Shin Hati before Baylan Skoll and took her as an apprentice?
What if Ben Solo never destroyed Luke's Jedi order after his fall meaning that the Resistance and New Republic had the Jedi during their war with the First Order?
What if Rey was Luke's daughter or just what if Luke had a daughter or son during the sequels?
I can see Luke joining the Republic Defense Force and ending up in the cockpit of Red-5 the T-65, and Leia still hooking up with a certain scruffy Nerf herder of a smuggler with his Wookie co-pilot (much to Padme's chagrin and Ani's amusement).
I’m so happy for Anakin and Padme in this alternate story.

This one has been in my head for a bit, but what if during attack of the clones when Padme and Dooku had there meeting, she agreed to join the separatists because of the corruption in the republic. I suspect Anakin would join her and leave the order, but what happens after is for you to decide. Does Dooku train Anakin, does Anakin become THE general of the separatists. Who knows
That's probably why she didn't join them
Because if she did, and anakin left
And then the jedi found out akain left the order to be with his wife
They would have assumed anakin turned to the dark. It wouldn't be the case at all, but the jedi were so blinded by the light they couldn't hear from the force

Also, Maul is still alive so that is Dooku and Maul, two Sith Lord's! Also, where's Ventress during this time? Dooku's apprentice or on her own now?

He thought he had enough influence and Anakin admired him enough and had as much ambition for order and power and thought Anakin would turn to the Dark Side to save Padme, which he would, but he was not enslaved to the Jedi dogma or need for secrets this time, so he refused the offer.

Aren't many of the members of the army NOT human beings though? There are many, many different sentient beings right? Also, why pull the lightsaber then tell him he wouldn't join him instead of just immediately stabbing or unhanding him without words? I would have laughed if Anakin, with his interest and success in politics in this timeline, became Chancellor after his wife's term ended xD

Although i liked it there are a few flaws like anakins way of thinking would not change to qui gons way of thinking just bc he left the order he would still have rage and arrogance palpatine would have tried to strike padme as he has almost perfect control of his rage for a sith anyway he would be thinking critically and take a strike at padme and anakin has never been good at politics hes never really understood it that much anakin is rash he would lash out a few times during this story there was not really any character development here he just all of a sudden change to a view much like qui gon this isnt a jab at u its just me trying to help u learn from ur mistakes with this one
