Can we get a round of praise for the delicate and fluid piano? My man is in there pulling out the perfect dynamic for the song and the singer. A lot of players would go way too hard. He's floating along in the soft spots, then ramping up when the voice needs the support. Just beautiful

saying this 'cover' is better than the original is a bit of a stretch. Its a great cover nonetheless. My only criticism would be, if you watched AGT 95% of the acts sound very similar to this.

What you're insinuating is that success is a matter of numbers (ultimately rolling up to money). And sure, there is that. However it is not the only measure of success; if it were, there would be no music.

Her good diction is unappreciated. When I hear her covers I go “oh, that is what the song is about” Take this song for example. I always thought of it as a rock classic. In reality, it is a love poem.

This is one of my favorite settings for a song. For a large part this is about the vintage piano and Cal playing so insanely well under Annalises vocals. Some of her strongest performances on the channel are recorded in this room for sure

Must confess my first thought was that this version might be a little slow out of the gates as it were, but nope, it just gives a nice starting point for your delivery to really build from. And the piano accompaniment works just perfectly - lovely stuff. ❤️

'Dream on' is ridiculously high in the later chorus. Amazing song and it shows Stephen Tyler isn't just some basic singer, he has a ton of range. Any Aerosmith song would be great, but this one is a special one :)

This song came out during one life's major transition periods for me, from high school to college. I loved the original but the simple nature of your version with just a piano in the background, makes it even more of a love song. I can see this version being used as a first dance for a couple at a wedding reception.
