Their talent is off the charts & if they were guys there would be a lot of great NBA players out of a job. For me the talent and skill enthralls me way more than the raw athleticism & honestly as someone who watches a lot of both leagues I think the WNBA outclasses the NBA in overall talent right now. This is just an exceptional time in the WNBA when a lot of really great players are in the league. Greatness isn't limited to just guys and I'm glad I appreciate it when I see it. Note: there's a rule of thumb that if you add 5 inches to a girls height that's how tall they would be if they were a guy and visa versa. Sometimes considering that also helps you appreciate their talent. Like imagine Breanna Stewart as a 6' 9" power forward or Brittney Griner as a 7' 3" center. This isn't necessary AT ALL but I like it as a thought experiment. Also it's cool watching a game that's played mostly below the rim. Not worse or better just different. It makes me sad when people can't appreciate the talent in the WNBA or write them off because of their gender. They're really missing out!!!
