Lol I remember when you had a competition to see who could pronounce your last name correctly (this is like well over a decade ago) and these 2 girls made a video pronouncing it correctly and you sent them sticks, drum skins, and stuff like that. That’s how old of a fan I am I think that was like 2009 or 2010-ish.

Hey @Cobus - I commented last week downstream about you breaking the 1M+ Subs mark!! Was good intentioned, and just meant as a celebratory message - Of course no good deed goes unpunished and sure enough; a few days later “Someone” pretending to be you (Cobus31 or 51?) posted something like “congrats’ “here’s a special gift for you!” then gave a Cobus telegram address asking to be contacted for my “surprise”. I then checked their account just to discover that they’ve posted this same type message to many other ‘celeb accounts’ anytime someone gives them props for breaking a huge subscriber milestone… So; obviously it’s not you; nor is there any “surprise” awaiting me (except some sort of scam or con I suspect). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but think we need to fix this so some young kid doesn’t get sucked in - and was thinking maybe you could maybe put out a “general PSA” or the likes to your million followers in your next vid or post something on here saying it’s a scam and it’s not you? However you wanna handle it - I’ll leave it up to you. I’m just the messenger here. Contact me if you need more info or help.

Cereal is not a soup, it’s a stew. Soups are typically relatively uniform liquids. Stews, on the other hand, have large chunks of ingredients floating in a liquid. Cereals are large chunks of grains floating in milk.

I love the message Cobus brings too the table about weather or not if you've ever thought about quitting so about four years ago I stopped playing the drums and took a hiya Tus for about two years due too the fact that I had been experiencing what drummers sometimes call groundhog day with my drumming that and I just couldn't simply turn it off the struggle is real my fellow drummers thanks Cobus.

Great video. Hmm have I ever thought about quitting drums. I did for 8 years was the worst time of my life. If you ask me today I would say yes but know I never will. I am getting older so it brings me back to my youth a bit.

- I don’t know anything at all about music theory in any way. I play by ear and feel.
- Have I ever considered quitting drums?...never. I can’t live without drums. Truly. I don’t know who I’d be without them. Everyone who knows me knows me as many things, but especially as a drummer. My ultimate career dream is to be a renowned pro drummer at any cost.
- what makes me feel better: God, church, and drums
- snare size: 13” x 6”. Depth and pop. Best of both worlds. My favorite snare is my 13x6 Maple by Mapex
- Blink 182: not a fan

- teleport anywhere: Metallica’s studio to meet and jam with them
By definition a soup is made from a meat or vegetable stock base, and since milk is not any kind of stock, cereal can't be soup.
However hot cereal like oatmeal, or cream of wheat, or something similar, very well may qualify as stew. There's no defined base of a stew, just more solid than liquid.
