- I'm not going to say it's "impossible" to stabilize the region following normal strategies, but this scenario is way easier (and faster) if you just blitz down the enemy fort. Cross your fingers that your reputation holds!

To be fair, helping them is the leaders entire job, and those insurgents are kicking ass and blowing people up.
Honestly, I would love to see you make attempts on ultra mega insurgency, even if you just fail numerous times, As it would just simply be hilirous on how ridiculous they are, and we can finally experience how the insurgents feel everytime they get bullied by you
A simple video with 2-3 failed attempts with a few different strategies he's trying would be super neat. Maybe get some conversation started and brainstorm ideas.

8:06 it's actually only 1 reputation. You can see the reputation tick down to 1 in the last split second. That was a really close one.
Nah, the scenario ended at 2 reputation. -1 didn't count towards the score, and even if it went to 0, he would've still won.

Its actually easier than you think. Just rush the fortress by using coalition soldiers. I actually won this on mega brutal difficulty using this strat, even if 75% of the population are hostiles

Idk how i did it but i finished it once with 84 reputation of bc i used some soldiers to cut the connected zones off and also i used more national soldiers so there were less coalition soldiers who wanted to go home

So basically, this Scenario means that the Insurgents have an Headquarters of their own, and Reputation loss from getting defeated by National-Coalition allied forces zone by zone doesn't apply to them.

So, when is the Ultra Mega Insurgency in Mega Brutal difficulty?
Tip: Spend less time taking neighbouring zones. It is really unnecessary and a waste of time. Abuse airstrikes and coordinated fireteams. Drones with combat sensors also help. I have tested it and it works with every governor, besides the billionaire who I'm unable to try.
Basic strategy: Ignore every initiative that does not directly help with funds, reputation, or military.
Train the first soldier as soon as possible, get interpreters and guides, human terrain system, and surveillance equipment. Deploy the soldier on the closest full intel zone to Foxtrot Lima. Train a second soldier. Make your way over to Foxtrot Lima. Deploy soldiers on that zone and the neighbouring non-mountain zones as they get intel. Get extra soldiers and/or airstrikes as necessary.
Once the minefield in Foxtrot Lima is destroyed, move soldiers into the fortress and the two closest zones next to it (in addition to Foxtrot Lima).
If you haven't gotten airstrikes and drones yet, you should. Max them out (except airstrike precision). When coalition soldiers run out of deployment time, take long extensions, unless you're close to winning.
Also, remember to defend your HQ if it's under attack.

U know somehting is bad when the developer, with all their inner knowledge of how everything literally works, can only just barely manage to beat the scenario on what is effectively easy mode.
This makes me look forward to how Pravus will manage to tackle it.
Maybe another cheesy strategy like what was used with the Bio Weapon in Plague Inc's Cure Mode? XD

General is way better ngl 2 months to train and you can have the best national soldiers in the game
