There was moves u didnt utilize with donny and i dont know y..i use him very well u can meter burn that stick grab also he has a back forward strong its a multihit stick move like leo and once meterburn it pops him up..also u didnt use the air ball...all the turtles have the same basic moves just look different but the inputs are the same..i think u could be good with donny if u combine ur love of high lows...aka "mix" with his actual special moves. Just doing that overhead shell smash just isnt enough to win
I feel the TMNT need their own vs game using Unreal Engine 3 with all their villains and nostalgic characters from the franchise. It would be so perfect.
That is what makes Super so strong. He still stays with the caracter and gets it in most of the cases... but this time a Superman-Mirrormatch would have been the better choice :DD

I think it's reasonable that nobody uses Raphael or Donatello because their character abilities are far inferior for 1 thing. Raphael's is fun to actually hit but you practically have to give up a hit to build up 1 Sai. And Raphael also is the only turtle that doesn't have a back forward 2 attack... and on top of that, I think Leonardo's back forward 2 is the only one that's safe on block. I would think that Leo and Mikey would be at least 2 tiers above the other 2. And you know, when I got the turtles I was bummed out about it because I wanted to love Donatello because he was always my favorite turtle... you can tell a lot about someone's personality based on which turtle is their favorite and I always related best with Donnie. A little bit too smart to really fit in with his friends and family but still cool enough that everyone likes him.
In the Raph vs Superman matchup I recommend doing some reversal parries to escape pressure, especially when you block Superman's F3 and B3. You shouldn't feel bad about losing to Superman, cause that is a cheap mofo.
It hurt to see two wicked turtles played so badly, where was Donny's staff power it is such an asset along with the gadget that provents jumping. My god though Raphael made me wanna cry, he is simply a bait then attack character do his charge taunt and when they close get savage. The start to the third Superman battle was a good example (I think it was the third) I thought "Yeah my boy gets it now, Raph needs to get in and lay it down like a beast." But then he backs off and looks more like he is playing defence again, even Superman baited him when he began to jump up and down. Raph and Don are not button mashers like Leo and Mike (I love all the turtles fyi) but with Raph and Don you need tactics and understanding. If Black Manta is jumping all the time (and he was) drop the gadget that prevents him from doing that. With Raph you bait because anyone with half a brain does not want a charged Raphael to deal with, but if they are the type to just charge in that's our boys bread and butter. You just need to gear him right with attack and defence but always attack, don't let them take a breath, of course you need to be smart about it or you get countered obviously and you don't wanna be a bitch who drives a guy into the corner and just keeps punching but I think most people get what I mean. This is just my opinion as someone who plays all the turtles, a lot, but Super try them again if your down but play more the way I suggested and I think you will find yourself winning a large majority of your matches. After some practice of course, peace and love the videos bud.

I don't ever play online- I love playing the towers, ladders and other offline stuff for all of the fighting games. Online is more fun to just watch CZcamsrs play.

If I was u when I saw u use Donnie I think u should throw the gadget that's don't allow your enemy to jump more plus it takes damage n takes all entire screen it will make your enemy jump when they see u using it. I never play this game, but, for what I see; superman got laser eyes, frezze breath, fly, throw things and a hit who make you fly to another place across a moving train; and you are just a turtle who maybe hit a punch. So sad.
I have to plead guilty.... I usually play with Leonardo and Mikey when I play the turtles.... I think there was one Multiverse where I had to use Datello to achieve all of the missions...... That was interesting, but I did start to appreciate him. And I got a new ability for him from that.....
Leonardo is just always the best variation but they need to adjust xp I played 30 matches times in multiverse and leveled up 1 time that's really absurd
I stopped playing this game in like april of this year, then i descovered this video in my recommended, the first fighting game video in recommended in months, and i kinda miss it now

@Joe Schmo and Leo is easy to learn I practiced with him a solid 3 hrs and he is a durable character, just gotta get used to him. Got fancy combos too..
After watching you play Donatello, I think I can see why people don't use him much. His 'special' isn't that special. Why didn't they give it more pull, so the other player can't just walk against the pull or block and not be moved at all? It seems so useless. It could at least do a little caltrop type damage... I also noticed you were playing with a completely unranked Raph... Can't expect a good outcome from that.

Raph is great when I'm using Raph people under estimate me until I have half my first bar and there down a bar and a half. Keep away characters aren't a stress for me I just duck jump duck jump get close hit a combo and boom done.The only problems I have with Raph is he doesn't have a lot of mix ups and the fact that u have to constantly build up his character power yourself.

The turtles got that turtling move to deal with projectiles plus that air dive so dealing with keep away as a turtle has never stressed me out. As for why I use Raph as one of my mains, because building up his character power offers another layer of challenge and his tools don't feel cheap at all. He's a pain to use in high-level play but, to me, it's a fun kind of pain.
