Well Butch Vig said Kurt mainly used a Mosrite guitar for the recordings. In the video he held his beloved comp mustang but I doubt he used it for the actual recording.

This isn't the actual Kurt Cobain Jag. It's a MIJ version of it. It's not reliced and one of the switches on the bottom is still in, plus it doesn't look like a piece of used shit.

@bloc22 no-its-not. Its the kurt cobain japan jaguar model. Its kinda the basic japan style jag, with his mods (3-way and humbuckers)
sometimes kurt played it live "too fast" at the beginning; i think its awesome :)
