For his long-awaited BR debut, Palmbomen II brought his full live set from LA: an austere toolset of classic sequencers and time-tested drum machines. Dreamy tape-hissed analogue house, par excellence. Big tip.

Love his sound, just keep coming back to re-play old Palmbomen stuff on YT, especially the Memories of Cindy videos. The raw sounds he has going on really works so well with the aesthetic of the matching lo-fi videos. Reminds me of why I love analogue film photography - the imperfection is where a lot of the soul comes from.
Palmbomen is something you listen and broaden ur mind more and more. he is fucking genius, brothers and sisters
best boiler room in ages. pure bliss.

@@Jdinrbfidndifofkdndjoflfndjdk I think I read somewhere he uses a mackie mixer
Anybody help me understand how he is using the mpc? Is he launching pre recorded samples or actual midi sequences? Also is the drums coming from the 707 or the mpc?
sequences; yes drumz coming from 707

why does professional always put their beer next to their hardware gear ? You should never do that especially during a live ! Be safe, love your gear and use decksaver everyone :) wonderful set however
TheOrangepeak aghhhhhhhhh, just enjoy the music
you still wanna use a decksaver rather than puting beer next to your beloved synthesizers
Worst case scenario. It falls into that midi controller. You get a new one. You got all the other synth and sampler doing the heavy lifting. 707 MPC. 303 clone Just dance man just dance!!!
ahah good analysis ^^ I was just trolling anyway..as long as it's not my synth :p cheers :)

A lot of fluff, not enough pure instrumentation. Barely touches the keys. Just launching.
ConArdist well, that's really all his compositions call for. I agree with you. Are you throwing down huge voicings in your tunes?
