- In the midst of the chaos and devastation of World War I, Sergeant Michael Dunn finds himself entrenched in the relentless battles alongside Canadian forces. Severely wounded, he miraculously survives and is sent back home for recovery. In the hospital, he meets the enchanting nurse Sarah, who tends to his injuries and witnesses his suffering firsthand.
Sarah lives with her younger brother David, whose dreams of joining the front lines are shattered by his asthma, rendering him unfit for military service. Unable to fathom the nightmares of war, David longs for the opportunity to prove himself on the battlefield.
Despite David's initial disappointment, fate intervenes, and he finally gets the chance to enlist and participate in the pivotal battle of Passchendaele. Concerned for his well-being, Michael decides to accompany him, while Sarah insists on joining to provide aid to the wounded soldiers.
As they navigate the horrors of war together, their bonds are tested, and they find themselves entangled in a complex web of love, duty, and sacrifice. A great film spoilt by the ending cut off. Fault of Movie Chamber or CZcams? Bad enough having these damnable advertisements interrupting every two minutes without havingprogrammes - every bloody programme ruined one way or another. I'm getting sick of YT.
If it's YT, it's probably because of copyright issues. Copyright is still a thing, like it, or not.....
@@Lassisvulgaris So copyright prevents the last scnes of the video? Nonsense! It might also be a hurried and poor copy of the original, and we know that many films and programmes are copies of the work done by others - let's not kid ourselves.. In any event, the constant flow of ads has ruined YT entirely, and the reason so many are now turning to Patreon and elsewhere.
